Kiki was on her own today. She had left her humans to their own devices, letting them do whatever it is they liked, as long as they didn't get into too much trouble. She could handle explaining away a few minor fires or stealings, but anything larger than that.. she just didn't want to deal with. She was a little stressed out with all the other Boogies in uproars about their own humans going at it, but she certainly didn't want to deal with her own and have to punish them. No.. Kiki was a nice girl, she didn't like to harm others or make them upset.
She floated down the hallways of the Boogie Palace on her broomstick, up and over the heads of all the other Boogies walking down the hallways. She had her little radio hanging from the handle, playing some music that she immensely enjoyed. She hummed along with the tune as she went, smiling to herself. She liked being able to get out of the house once in a while, without having to deal with greedy or lazy people. She had been asked more than once today to delivery some things for and to other Boogies. Kiki said yes automatically, because the girl just couldn't say no.
Kiki flew to where she knew the music lounge was and instantly went towards the big doors. She landed lightly on her feet and held the broomstick upright as she pushed the doors open. The big music room, with it's high stained glass windows, and big grand pianos. The fire places were all lit and the dark red couches were thrown into shadow and light from the flickering fires. She felt at home here.
Skipping over to the big red couches and placed her broomstick down and flicked the radio dial to the 'off' position. She grabbed inside her little salmon colored bag and took out her ocarina. She slipped off her little red flats and placed them next to the couch, smiling brightly. Kiki continued her skipping over around the room and began playing on her ocarina a nice little tune. She got to the point she was dancing around with her eyes closed and she jumped up on one of the couches, twirling around and around on the cushions.
