Pain and Pleasure [Kris]

"The point I am trying to make, dear Krissy, is that there need not be any reason. We don't need a reason to do the things we do and if you ask for a justification we can make it. It isn't hard for us. After all, it's just what we do."

It was true really. Kris knew it to be true and he hated that fact. The boy stood in silence and averting his eyes to the side. Boogies, thats all they ever wanted to do was hurt humans and make false promises of sending them home if they made their Boogies proud. Did what they wanted. It was nothing but a load of bullshit. They just waned free labor and that is what they got.

Until today that is...

Today, all boogies got what they deserved even if Kristopher really didn't think it was right to hurt anyone, even the boogies. They lived and breathed as well. It was rather tough for him to figure out what side to stand on and so he chose the fence post.

"I don't think you've committed any crime. You misunderstand me if you ever thought that was the point that I was making. I will concede that one point to you, however. It is not my place to decide your punishment. A terrible shame, too... since I know the truth and the person in charge of your punishment doesn't actually care. By the time he's done with you, you'll wish it had been me."

Once again, Kristopher feathers got ruffled. "If that is the case then why bring me in here? Especially seeing as I know little." Once again, going in cricles but this boogie confused Kristopher and annoyed him slightly. He wasn't really sure what to think. But all Kris wanted to do was get out of here and find Augusta. Then promptly rattled his rebel leading brains! Wait, that was right...Augusta was the leader or so Kyle had told him. But he wasn't sure if that was true or not...but his brother wouldn't lie to him. Not with something like that!

Kristopher shuddered at the mention of Sin. Shae was right, he would rather have another boogie deal with him then Sin. Because, his master never thought things through...he just did what frist came to his mind. Furthermore, with Kristopher being around in the area of the fight, Sin could take it as a form of rebellion against him and punish the blond even though he had no part of it.

It made him sick to his stomach.

"Dismissed,"

What? Dismissed? Kristopher quickly looked up and was met only with darkness. The nineteen year old suddenly froze in place. His green eyes wide with a sudden fear, but he did not move, not an inch. Where did the light go? Where was the boogie? Kristopher turned his head to the right and then to the left, he turned once. He saw nothing and this bothered him, he listened for a long moment.

"Shit." He muttered, feeling his hurt suddenly pick up speed and beat rappedly within his chest as if his heart was about to take flight. You see, Kristopher never could handle the darkness, it was one of his biggest and worst fears, ever.

Whatever Kristopher Roberts had to say to him, Shaehern no longer cared. He was actually rather impressed that he was able to glean anything from him that could be useful. It had certainly been a roundabout way of confirming suspicions, but he felt like patting himself on the back for a job well done. Not only had he gotten to the slave before Sin potentially destroyed him, but he had gleaned information from the boy without even raising suspicion. Keeping track of the everything important was difficult with limited resources. That was where wits came to play.

No doubt what information he had now wouldn't impress anyone, but after acting on it for a little while maybe he'd figure something out that was actually worthwhile. No telling what he'd do with the information once he had more of it--he really was just interested in the challenge of trying to figure out the rebellion. Personal challenges kept such a long life interesting, after all.

Now he had left Kris in the dark but had not actually moved much himself. The blond was terrified of the dark, though Shaehern never had actually figured out why. His best guess had always been that it had something to do with being Naelona's slave, but maybe it stemmed from a time even before that. A shame he hadn't thought of looking into that before. Had he that interesting tidbit of information it was very possible he could take this terror to the next level.

Gracefully he moved in a circle around to the left side of Kristopher's last known position. His breath was loud an made it easy to pinpoint his body as Shaehern slithered ever closer. Cautiously he held his breath as he lowered his head to where young Kristopher's face was. His tongue slipped out and he dragged it slowly across the side of the boy's face and up to his ear before pulling back quickly in an attempt to avoid retaliation.

He didn't feel like saying anything.

Kristopher was frozen. He was as frozen as a piece of meat in a cold room. He chewed on the bottom of his lip violently for a moment and took a few random steps. There was no where to go, there was no light. There was only the darkness around him and the echoing of his own feet and voice. What was he to do? Surely some light would pop up somewhere! Surely there was a way out!

The blond's green eyes darted around the room as wild as an animal. He was trying to spot something, anything that might give him some relief and with his hands still tied behind his back, there was little he could do. His heart was beating faster now. The beating echoed into his ears, he started to sweat from the fear that was traveling through his body. He was going into a panic.

"M--M--Master S--Shaehern?" He called out into the darkness, but no one answered him. He gulped then, wondering what he should do or where he should go. Had the boogie forgotten about him? Did he not care? Was he going to be stuck in here? Stuck within the darkness and whatever else might be in here?

His knees felt like they would give out on him at any second! But wait, what was that feeling? He thought he felt someone staring at him and he turned quickly, unknowingly facing Shae. The blond took a few steps back then, closure to the pool without realizing it. "H--Hello?" He asked. "I--I--Is an---anyone there?"

No answer. Only the silence of darkness.

He stopped then and took a few deep breaths, turning his head quickly to look off to the side. That was when he felt something suddenly touch his face. It was wet and warm. What the fuck was it? The teenager froze again, his green eyes growing as wide as saucers! The feeling of being licked continued up to his ear before it disappeared. Frightened, the boy stumbled back and to the left.

"W--What the hell?!" He nearly shouted with a sudden fear. What was in here with him?

"Easy is the prey that finds itself enthralled by the darkness. That one tastes of fear, but it does not yet know true terror. True terror that weakens the limbs and steals the voice. How this one longs to proclaim its existence. Instincts scream to squeeze the life out of this one now, but this one is not quite finished."

There was something nagging at the corner of Shae's mind. He wanted to prove his brutal savagery as a sort of final point. He let out a quiet hiss as he felt his skin pull tight across his face. Just as silently as before he stepped around, trying to position himself just right.

As he set down his foot he lost his balance for a brief moment and almost fell into the pool of water. He stopped himself before he ruined the moment. How fortunate for him, but not very fortunate for his prey. Had Shae fallen into the cool waters just then he might have brought lil' Krissy out of his fear-ridden stupor. At least now he knew where the pool was, and that made this next move much easier.

Those deceptively slender arms of his extended towards the slave with outstretched fingers. Grasping a gentle hold of the boy's clothing for a moment he took a brief second to take in the moment. Then with a pleasant sigh his grip become firm and he yanked back the slave as hard as he could in order to drag him into the shallow pool of water. It was truly amazing how dangerous a few feet of water could be under the right circumstances.
