A soft sigh came from the giant boogie as he walked through the busy winter alleys of the market. The dark-haired man had his hair tied in a low braid and had his long hair slung over his shoulder so it hung down next to his arms, which were folded lightly over his chest. Jouhnin walked with a basket in one arm and the man looked at the stalls. He Found a store with cloth and stopped there, he gazed at some of the fabrics, staring at a fabric that was red.
He reached out and felt the cloth, it was silk, it was nice too. It was in good condition and at a good price, and he liked it. He stopped and turned around, there had been a short boogie with him, but the boogie-man was gone now. "Oh dear..." Jouhnin said and walked out of the stall, of course ducking down so he didn't take down the whole stall with his forehead. " Corvus!" he said and looked around, snow began to fall as he glanced around the slight crowd. How could he have lost that little boogie-man? Okay well... Corvus was really short.
" Coooooor~"

A little stroll in winter was a nice idea, even if it meant shopping. Cor had just been happy to get out of the palace for a little while and enjoy the freshly-fallen snow. Maybe throw a few snow-balls. He liked the winter seasons. Meant he could wear his preferred clothing of long, thick black coat, white gloves, and his signature top hat. Now it was more just keeping his head warm than a memento. After all, why keep a memento of a thing that would never happen. He was happy with his current relationship.
Krissy be dammed, he was sticking with Jou...
...err...where'd he go...?
Red eyes blinked and looked around the crowd of people, just as the snow began to fall. He was lacking a certain giant. How the hell did I lose him?! He towers over everyone! Corvus spun around on his heel and looked about with a confused frown. Dammit, he hated his genetics. He was probably the shortest Boogie man in Wonderland, and fully grown, of course. At least his ears were working. The demon-eyed man started backward toward his name being called.
"Over here, Jouhnin-kun," he called, waving a gloved hand, "Next time warn me before you stop! You know I space out."

Jouhnin had dragged Corvus out here to shop with him, but he didn't expect the boogie-man to run away at the first chance. He sighed and then heard a voice, ah there was that adorable little midget! Jouhnin turned and he did indeed, tower over the crowd, but he didn't tower of the stalls, which was blocking him from view until he took about four steps forward. Jouhnin looked back at the red cloth in the stall before looking back at Corvus. Gosh, this was like a dream wasn't it? Jouhnin had the job he wanted (sorta, he didn't dream of being an elder, it was kinda dropped in his lap), the man he had always wanted, and his sister was in big plans to get married off. It was like he he was tied to a hundred helium balloons. He was happier than Iugo in a pile of dead slaves, and that was sayin' something.
" Corvus-dear... hold this would cha?" he said happily and handed Corvus the basket. Unlike his new signifigant other, Jouhnin wasn't wearing Western clothing, he was in a dark blue kimono with many layers to keep him warm, and he had a little knitted cover to go over his arms cause the poor boogie was a reptile. He was already cold so winter made him really unhappy. But he was with his short uke so he wasn't too concerned about the weather. Jouhnin pulled the cloth down and paid for it before walking out of the stall again and putting the cloth in the basket.
" C--cor.... I have a question." The giant sighed softly and let his cold breath make a little cloud. He looked a bit embaressed and he looked down at his feet (bare as always, even in the snow), " I know that since the rebellion you've really had no permanent place to stay..." he then stomped his foot angrily, " Ugh! I'm acting like a girl!" he said and let out a huff as he pouted and then mumbled softly. " I wanted to know if you'd like to.... move in with me.. since I have the estate and everything... cause... yah know... stuff..."
God, idiot.

Corvus blinked as the basket was popped into his ams, holding like a good boyfriend normally would for his girlfriend. Sure...he was technically the woman in this relationship. And okay...Jouhnin was way taller than him. But it was the same basic idea. While said giant was buying and paying for the fabric Cor couldn't help but eye the man in his deep blue kimono. And blow some falling snow off his hat. It was cold, even though the gloves. But he liked the cold.
Cold reminded him of his Jou-chan.
If I hadn't messed it up before...I wonder...where we'd be right now?
"Hmm?" the smaller and younger Boogie was pulled from his thoughts when his lover addressed him. A question? Wait, why was he talking about where Corvus lived? It was true, he hadn't had a place to stay since he'd gotten here. Considering the fire had taken out a good chunk of rooms and he just never got around to finding one of his own...he'd just drifted about and slept where he slept. He chuckled a little at Jou's foot stomping.
"Easy, Jouhnin-kun. Your toes are gonna get frost-bite as it is now. Don't bruise them."
...wait, huh?
Cor's cheeks went the shade of his eyes and the fabric pretty fast. "M-Move in with you...?? Why would I--" Deep breaths, think, rephrase response. "I mean...I don't...not that I wouldn't want..." Stop biting your tongue! "...I wouldn't want to impose on you. Or Aiko...err...she still hates me, right? I don't want to be murdered in my sleep."

Ah, it may have been true that Corvus was the 'woman' of the relationship, but really, that was only in the private time they spent together. But out in the public eye, Jouhnin was as close as you could get to a woman without actually having the physical parts to prove it. Not only did he obsess over his appearance but he just seemed to walk and talk and breath gay. Gay, gay, gay. Very, very flaming gay. So gay that he could breath rainbows and when you walked within ten feet of him you automatically turned a little bit fruity. Not only would people go gay for him but also just being near the man made the straightest of people feel gay. If one saw auras, his would be way brighter then neon pink.
So... if Jou was an obvious flamer, what the heck did that make Corvus?
" Uh..." Jouhnin wasn't nearly as red as Corvus was but, he wasn't his usual pale white. " W--well... I mean Aiko-chan doesn't hate you... She is just a very protective of me and.. When you broke up with me she had to deal with my sudden depression and obsession with sweets and keeping me from becoming a big fat nasty thing that just bawled for the rest of his days..." he paused, " oh I'm rambling again..." Jouhnin sighed softly before he took the basket from Corvus's arms and knelt down so he was only a little bit taller than his lover. He then put the basket on the ground and then his nearly freezing hands on Cor's face.
Jouhnin gave him one of 'those' smiles, the ones Jou does to make people blush on purpose, of course right now he wasn't actually trying to make the boogie-man blush it just happened to be like that. Jouhnin smiled, " Well I was hoping that you could stay with me cause... With winter around now I get really lonely and... well... winter isn't the best time for me, and I don't want you sleeping around like a homeless man when you could be with me nice and safe and warm." Jouhnin chuckled, " And don't worry about Aiko, hopefully she's going to be... married off soon so, you'll only have to deal with her 'till she moves out, and I'll protect you while your asleep love. You know I'll do anything for you..." Jouhnin's smile turned warm, like the smiles Corvus had seen 'back in the day.' Those smiles were always the real ones, the ones that actually showed what Jou actually felt. Most of Jou's smiles were only for publicity and to make others think he was happy and joyous all the time. But when he was around Corvus, everything seemed to fit and so he felt like he was put back together again. Hence the real smiles, not the broken ones.
" I'll even act like some mushy, sappy, idiot for you..." Jouhnin said with a grin and soft chuckle.

If Jouhnin was a flamer, Corvus was a friggen Narnian. Sure he mostly spent his single-time checking out men rather than women, due to a certian past experiance we are NOT mentioning, but other than that Cor seemed entierly straight. He mande human girls blush and flustr for the sole purpose of enjoying it, not for anything sexual. If anything he just liked guessing if they'll turn red, pink, or firework. Plus he wasn't into dressing 'pretty' or being in womens clothing or going to parties like Jou or Shaehern (gayest-bisexual man in the Wonderland universe).
For the boyfriend of Jouhnin, Corvus was still hanging in the closet.
With a little roll of his ruby eyes, the younger man smiled weakly. "Which is code for she won't kill me if I'm in the same house, but should I approach her, I'm dust. Am I right?" He tried his best not to touch the subject of what-happened-after-we-broke-up. It was still a tender spot. Then there was the eaning down so they were closer in height, and 'little' Cor blushed even worse. Dammit, it was his job to make people blush. How come Jou managed to do this so easily?? Not fair.
"I'm not homeless. I'm a bohemian. There's a difference," he was trying to be cheeky with that comment, but it seemed a bit meek in comparrison to his better sarcasm. The heat in his face was messing with his brain. "...maybe staying in one place wouldn't be so bad...after all...this 'one place' has a very, very handsome land owner...am I right?" Cor gave his boyfriend a sneaky little grin. There was his attitude. The news that Aiko was going to be married off did make him blink a few times. Who in the world was she marrying...?
...........either way, I do not envy that man. Whoever it is.
Corvus's smile seemed to brighten at the real one Jouhnin was giving him. Either it was all in his head, or these little smiles were Cor's and Cor's alone. All mine...oh, hello possesive Boogie mentaility. Didn't see you there. "If you go about acting even sappier than you do now, bugs will get stuck in you and turn into amber." One gloved hand rose and cupped the freezing hand on her face. It was so cold, colder than the snow...but to the young man, it was warm at the same time.
"Maybe I will live with you...Jouhnin-chan..."
