"Just hold still already! You keep squirming and it will take longer!" Summer was one of Zeke's favorite times of the year. Back home it meant fireworks and watermelon and festivals, normally dressed in traditional kimono's and yukata's...though back then even Zeke will admit to preferring the women's clothing to his own. In Wonderland there weren't half as many festivals and although there was watermelon, it had a better chance of eating you than you had it. It bothered the blonde quite a a lot that he couldn't keep up the traditions he'd had back home down here. But there was one thing he could try to do: the clothing. Which was, right now, what the older twin was trying to force onto his squirmy and fidgeting little brother. While he was in a furisode. "Ah, Kris, st--Grrr!" the blue eyed man growled a little and squeezed the bare shoulders of his twin. He had to, after all the moron had tried to make a run for it for the third time, even after almost going for it and removing his shirt. "Krissy, I'm putting you in hakama! Stop panicking! I'm putting you in MEN'S CLOTHING." It was true, though some styles were cut for women, mostly priestesses, but the one he'd borrowed from Serenity was made for a guy. Did make one wonder why she had such a thing...With a little pull Zeke pouted, his long sleeves trailing down to the floor as he did so. "C'mon, it won't be anything bad. But it will be if you don't calm the eff down! I'll put you in a yukata if I have to."

Kristopher loved his friend Zeke, he was like a brother to him. He was right there up on sibling love that he shared with Kyle. But what he didn't like about Zeke was his crossdressing nature. Sure, it didn't brother him until Zeke dragged him into it! At frist, he was okay helping Zeke into his little outfit and tying the obe. He looked cute, but there was no way Kris was going to wear one!
So, as soon as the words, "I think you would look cute in..." Kristopher backpaddled. No way was he going to dress like a girl! He needed a good reason for it and right now, Zeke didn't have one. The poor younger blond struggled to get away but in the end he had failed. Zeke was so much stronger then him, even in a yukata.
His twin might of said it was nothing but mens clothing he was going to put on him, but he didn't believe him. Not at all! "Nah huh! You are gonna put me in a dress! I won't do it!" He declared in fear as he tried to pull away but wasn't getting anywhere.
"I don't really like to be a woman, unlike you." The twin whinned and finally stopped trying to pull away. He was going to lose this fight anyways. Sagging in a depression of going to look like a woman, he fail over on Zeke's bed, face frist.
"Do I have to wear make up?" He moaned into the covers.

Zeke laughed a little at the excuses coming out of Kristopher's mouth. Didn't want to be a woman? Well he was, in more ways than Zeke. Zeke was in a heterosexual relationship and had been for over a year now, while Krissy...Kris was still taking it up the arse after much more than a year. And not even by the same guy! Sure the older twin had fooled around a little with Kyle but that was when he was drunk. The only thing more feminine about Zeke than Kris was how he liked to dress. It was his girlfriend's fault for turning the once-in-a-blue-moon happening into a habit.
"I said it was for a guy, dummy," the blonde stated as his twin flopped onto the bed, "It's got pants for Pete's sake. Just trust me."
Turning on his bare feet, and trying like mad hell not to trip on the sleeves, Zeke picked up the folded clothing sitting on his little cabinet. His room was a little better furnished than other slaves, probably because his mistress spoiled him senseless. And because she wanted him to have places to put all the ridiculous costumes she found for him. Once he'd unfolded the clothing he turned around and tossed it at his brother. "Shirt..." he mused and did the same with the slacks, "...and pants. See? Now quit that whining already." The sapphire twin laughed again and leaned against the table, ignoring the candle-he-knew-he-didn't-light that always was there.
Spies gotta spy, I suppose.
"No, you don't need make-up. But I am doing your hair up, okay?"

Kristopher rolled over on the bed, only to be slapped in the face by clothing. Blinking a few times, his pale hand reached down and touched the fabric. Picking it up with both hands, he held up the odd looking pants and tilted his head. "You call these pants?" He asked connfused. "It looks like a two legged skirt." He lowered the pants slowly and stared had at his twin that had both his eyes.
"Are you sure you aren't pulling my leg here?" Asked Kristopher slowly as he held up the pants again and stared at them. Maybe it wouldn't be too bad...they looks kinda nice and all. But at the thought of his hair being done, he looked horrorified once again. What on earth was Zeke going to do with his hair! "No flowers." He declared suddenly and shuddered at the thought for more then one reason.
One, he didn't like flowers in his hair and secondly, he had lost his eye orginially to some crazy, possessed, flower flinging boogie! The one eyed twin sighed softly and sighed. He wasn't going to win this battle, he never did with his twin.
"So, how do I even put these on? You are so going to have to help me." He wasn't Japanese, so he had no idea how this stuff even worked! For a third time, he looked at the pants in a disbelieving way.

"You get them on like pants, moron," Zeke laughed once and glanced at his desk. Sitting there was a little hand-held mirror which he'd used to fix his own hair. His hair was a little longer now in an attempt to match Kristopher's, but there was still a noticeable length difference. But it was long enough to do up regardless. "Don't worry about it too much, I promise those are meant for men. The ones for women had a different cut." Walking to the left he picked up the mirror and held it half an arms length away and patted his head-piece.
Blue eyes rolled a little though the smile stayed in place. "No flowers."
With a hop, skip, and a jump the furisode wearing man was standing over Kris as the younger twin looked over his not-dress. He twirled the mirror between his two hands, the light reflecting off the glass bouncing around the room. "I'll even let you have this so you can see that I'm not doing anything funny, okay?" he mused and poked at his twin with the handle of the mirror, right on the nose, "So hurry up and change so I can start!" There was a little pause while Zeke stepped back to give the changing blonde some room.
His gaze drifted down a little to the feet, hidden under his kimono. Something was weighing on his mind, something that was definitely not something a human should be thinking. But since when did Zeke care about such limitations. With a deep breath the dress-wearer looked back at Kris with a gentle, warm smile.
"I'm thinking of proposing to Serenity."

Kristopher rolled his eyes in a 'whatever' type of way. Sitting up he decided he might as well get dressed before his twin decided to forcefully stick those clothes on him. Ugh, that idea wasn't something he wanted to experience. Dropping his pants, he kicked them to the side and slid on the new pair that was being forced upon him. It took him a moment to get them on and tie the belt. "They are huge..." He muttered and looked up at Zeke.
About that time, the mirror was flashing everywhere like a tiny disco ball. Kristopher winced when the light hit his remaining eye. "Hey! Careful with that, I don't need to go blind." Kristopher growled lightly as he held up a hand to block the light from hitting him again. Of course, that allowed Zeke to bop him with that stupid mirror. Shaking his head, he turned away from his twin and worked on getting the other pieces of the outfit on. He struggled a bit but managed alright.
Well, he managed well enough until Zeke suddenly dropped an atom bomb on him! Kristopher wasn't sure what to say at first as he turned to regard the older boy as if he was certainly insane. "You're kidding me, right?" Marry a boogie? The never went well, especially for the human in the end. Ninety percent of the time, the boogie went insane from dealing with things against their nature and kill the human. Sometimes, they even consumed the ones they loved...
In short, the human never survived.
Now, Kris had nothing against marriage and the like. Hell, he was engaged and had been for a very long time but he was certain Augusta would never tie the knot fully. It was too dangerous for them, though for Zeke it would be ten times more dangerous.
"You know what happens to people that get into that kind of relationship, Zeke." Kristopher turned away, unsure of how to handle this situation but very serious on his words. "She'll murder you the first time you look away from her."

Zeke let a bright smile show as his dear twin finally admitted defeat and slipped on the outfit, at least the bottom half. They were huge on him but that was how they were normally worn. With a sweet laugh the older man reached over to tighten the belt just a little before stepping back again. The resemblance made him double-take. For once Kris didn’t just look like Zeke…in the hakama, even if it was only half, Kristopher looked remarkably like Zeke’s father. It was a little shocking but hell, Aiden Suzushima has been a youthful man and Zeke was practically his father’s clone.
And Kris reacted exactly as one would expect from being hit by a bomb. Zeke took no offense from his twin’s initial shock and skepticism. Who wouldn’t? Hell, even the calmest and most open-minded person in the multiverse would find the idea of a human and Boogie marrying to be mad. “No, I’m not,” he stated calmly with his smile still intact. He knew this never happened, and the very few and far between times it did end badly…but…he loved Serenity. More than anything and anyone. Yeah, he loved Kris, but it was an utterly different love. Serenity was everything to him, his heart, his world, his light.
So he simply said ‘bullshit’ to the all too possible bad ending…though it was a little harder to do so when your own brother is saying it.
Zeke looked down as Kris spoke again, then back up just in time to see him look away. “I know what happens. I know it’s dangerous and stupid and I have a very good chance of some ass killing me for…” but then Kris said something else. Bright, warm blue eyes darkened and sharpened and without a thought in his head, Zeke smacked the mirror (back-side first) into Kristopher’s bare shoulder. The glass cracked but didn’t splinter. “You’re wrong,” he spoke in a straining-to-keep-quiet voice, the mirror shaking in his hand, “Serenity would never do that. Serenity loves me. She would never hurt me…!”
Charoa might try, but Serenity loves me. She won’t let her touch me. Serenity is stronger now, because she has me. And she always will…
“…she needs me…and I need her…”

Odd, his shoulder should be hurting but he really didn't feel it. He had to wonder for a moment if something went wrong with his body from it being ... "unused" for a few hours, if you will. Still, he brought a hand to his clothed shoulder and rubbed it. He was asking for the hit, so he didn't make a big deal out of it even though he knew he would be bruising in a matter of minutes. He was always like that, bruising so easily.
Kristopher slowly turned and stared at his twin with his only green eye. The said orb stared long and hard at the upset blond. Truly, he was sad for the boy and happy at the same time. It was good to find love in this hell hole, but keeping it was an issue and loving a boogie was a death wish.
"Am I?" Kristopher asked softly with a voice full of understanding and compassion. He sat down on the bed and moved his fingers through his hair. "And clearly Naelona never lifted a hand to me." He looked fixedly at his twin then who had a good bit of knowledge about Kristopher's history, but he didn't know everything. There was a lot of things Kristopher didn't talk about or express with individuals.
One of them being Naelona.
"Do I need to remove this to make a point?" He motioned towards his eye patch. Sure, Kazn had removed the eye twice, but Naelona had been the one to gift him a new eye out of affection. He sighed then and lowered his head into his hand. Trying to figure out how he could get this across to his twin without being harsh or sounding like a jackass. "I can't tell you what to do, but I advise you not to get that close to her, out of concern."
He paused in thought, "Boogie women are, very delicate more so then a human. Loving one to that extent can easily cause you far more pain and suffering then you normally suffer." His shoulder was starting to feel the affects of the bashing and he winced a bit from it.
He looked up at Zeke and stared, unable to make up his mind on a certain subject. "I understand what you are feeling and she does need you, but not in the ways you hope..." He sat there and awaited for his twin to rage and probably smack him again. Not like he could blame him. But Kris was taking this all in stride.

Zeke was always the calm one, Zeke was always the one with the smile and the level mind. He accepted the weird and unusual because, hey, he was pretty odd himself. At first Serenity had been one of those things he just ‘accepted’: he couldn’t stop her flirty and flighty behavior, and took the humiliation of being her dress-up doll in stride. But now she wasn’t something he just accepted and smiled at…she was the person he loved, even though everyone said it was wrong and that she was going to hurt him. Kris could understand that, couldn’t he? He and Augusta had been told a million times they were oil and water. So why was his brother repeating it?
If Serenity was a human, nobody would say it.
It’s just because of what she is…
“You are,” his voice was still strained as he looked away from that sad, deep stare of his twin’s single eye. His pale hand loosened on the mirror and he pulled it from Kristopher’s shoulder. “I’ve already gotten close, Kris…I love her…I know she’s not completely stable, but it…it’s not what she is that…makes he like that…” Charoa would be a demon to Serenity, Boogie or not. That Zeke was fairly sure of. “She loves me too. Isn’t that what matters…?” Zeke normally didn’t get so quiet; it was very out of character for him. But he’d never really gotten mad either and he wanted to keep it that way.
This time the mirror let one splinter of glass go when it dropped and hit the floor, just as the older blond swung and slapped Kris in the face. So much for noy getting mad.
“Serenity isn’t like that!! She might be a Boogie, but that doesn’t change anything in my eyes! I love her, she loves me, and fuck every rule and reason I want to be with her for the rest of my life!” No matter how short it is… “It doesn’t matter what she is and what I am. I’m glad she brought me here! I’m glad I met her! Being a Boogie isn’t who she is…it doesn’t make her any less of a person…” The kimono wearing man took a step back. His hand was stinging a little from the strike, and he felt horrible for doing it to his own twin. His normally smiling blue eyes were filled with an apology he couldn’t spit out.
“…Kris…I don’t…I’m…shit…”

The one eyed blond looked at his twin, wondering how to make Zeke understand what he was trying to say. He had already been hit with a mirror and now he had to wonder briefly, if Zeke was going to get a bit more violent then what his nature in tells. Sighing softly the blond shook his head, "Zeke..." He said the name softly, allowing it to roll from his lips sadly.
Then the slap came clear across his face. It stung horribly and he was very certain his tender skin was bright red and would form a bruise. He was always known to bruise easily but for Zeke, he hoped he didn't. Very slowly, he opened his jaw and poked the side of his mouth and teeth with his tongue, checking the damage. He didn't speak as Zeke got everything out of his system.
Zeke had no idea how much Kristopher really understood where he was coming from. The blond had nothing against Serenity being a boogie, it was their nature he was more afraid about. A boogie can try to be human, can love and feel. But you can't take the monster out of a boogie. You can't take away their instincts no matter how bad they fight it. Eventually, they will give into it and paint the walls red.
Slowly, Kristopher touched his jaw and looked up at his twin. He wasn't afraid nor did his eyes seem to be angry. No, he just looked at his twin with understanding eyes. "I understand what you are saying and I respect you for it." He paused and dropped his hands from his jaw and let it rest in his lap.
"Look, I've never told anyone this before but," He took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "I loved Naelona, I love her as much as I do Augusta. I always had and I knew she cared for me. But I understood what would happen if I expressed my affection for her. It would drive her insane, she wouldn't be able to handle it. No matter what I did to try and separate myself from her, it just didn't help."
Slowly the blond clasped his hands together. "I gave up fighting it eventually. I decided to take care of her and show her my love by actions alone. It worked for a long time, and she grew deeply attached to me. Maybe shes realized it, that she loved me...but it's hurting her. You remember when I was attacked by her father? I should of died. Actually, I was dying but she couldn't let me go. She gave me the eye of a boogie and it healed me, took care of my health for a time. But things back fired..."
He dropped his sentence. "The thing is Zeke. I've been there, I loved a Boogie and I've died twice for that love and now shes rejected me fully. Yes, I am happy with Augusta, I can't live without him anymore. I love him and want to be with him forever, even though we don't mix very well. But, loving a boogie is difficult. They can change and can go insane. I try to keep my distance from her now Zeke, because I love her. I know if I show anything for her...it will make her worse if not more ill then she already is...I just want you to understand that loving one is dangerous and could get you killed or kill them. That's all and once they think they have lost you..." He stopped there.
"If you want to love her, then I will support you. But you need to think about her and how this will effect her and your life as well. I just don't want you to end up like me."
