Appearance:

Aione isn't the most beautiful woman, but she certiantly isn't plain. She's pretty short for her age (considering her parents were both very tall), and her recently cut black hair reaches her shoulders. When working, she keeps it out of her face with either her black hat, or with a pair of cute white berrets. Up to that point, Ai blends in with the crowd. But the one thing that really makes her stand out are her eyes, which are a shocking silver color. It seems to be her natural eye color, but only her and Sori have it in the entire family.

Personality:
A very unpredictable person with frequent spazzy moments, who seems to have another darker streak. Aione can be calm and warm when she wants to be, and she has a somewhat maternal instinct around the younger slaves. She's also a bit of a clutz. But when the situation gets to be to much, or when alcohol is involved, her inner self comes out. That side of her is a stronger, more devious Ai that doesn't show itself that often. Strange enough, neither of these very diffrent personalities are fake, and she's recently become aware of her double-sided mask.

After the death of her former master and lover, there was a shift in power in Aione's mind. The former, sweeter and more innocent personality has all but vanished into thin air, leaving the devious side in power. But even that edge has become more dangerous, leading her to have violent outbreaks and moodswings, though most of the time she seems completley empty. Ai has noticed this change in balance and is afraid she is going to loose herself to herself if things don't change...but it seems to only be getting worse by the second.

History:

For the most of her life, Aione was a perfectly normal girl. Sure her parent's marriage was hanging by a thread, and they didn't care if Sori was off gettng into a new kind of trouble daily, still Ai tried to keep up the image of the "good-child" in an attempt to keep the family together. It didn't work out as well as she'd hoped, and soon the threat of divorced loomed over the home like a dagger. Then, one night while Aione and her siblings were home alone, Ai saw the figure of a young boy wandering the house. She thought it was a ghost. She was terribly wrong.

For the rest of her life in the human world, the sightings of the boy continued. Swearing her siblings to secrecy, Ai told them everything she could about him. While Ayra and Motoko didn't believe what their big sister said, Sori was concerned and told their parents. Major mistake on his part. Viola and Tobi freaked out, believing their daughter was hallucinating. They took her to hospitals and ran tests and gave her medication, but they were blind...the tests, the doctors, everything they forced on her was driving Ai insane.

Almost four years later, the day before her twenyth birthday, Aione finally shattered. Whie going to ask her parents if she could go out with Sori for a party, she heard them talking about her. They were going to put her in an insane asylum for the visions. Broken hearted and scared, Ai shut herself in her room and cried, unsure of what she could do. But as she opened the window for some air, the boy from her sightings reappeared and pulled her out into the dark.
