"London Bridge is falling down," black leather boots padded soundlessly on the semi-moist grass, "falling down," ebony robes fluttered behind each well-placed step, "falling down," slender fingers cut through the air as though conducting the haunting melody, "London Bridge is falling down," countless chains and ornamental jeweleries emitted a faint clink at each decisive movement, "my fair lady."
Lucien's mouth twitched at the corners, spreading into a wide grin that revealed pearly white teeth. His feet took him places he often didn't even know as his mind preoccupied itself with children's lullabies. Though a full grown boogie at this point (and having been one for several centuries), Lucien still found himself fascinated by the most juvenile of things.
The man was quite known for his vast knowledge and unquenchable interest in the human (and inhuman) body. Even more so, his desire for all things inappropriate to the public eye was often looked down upon. But he cared not, for he was never one to deny himself of something he enjoyed.
Mismatched eyes swiveled around from beneath silver locks to behold the sight of the Orchard rarely frequented within Wonderland. The boogie made a soft sound of approval before spotting a large oak tree not far away. A soft giggle escaped Lucien's lips before his feet moved of their own accord and before he knew it, Lucien was seated directly against the smooth, broad trunk. His lips parted as a breath of air was taken in, and yet again, a lullaby was emitted from Lucien's mouth.
"London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down...." [/blockquote]

The small boy sat under a small tree, his eyes where blank. He was staring out at the Orchids, he hadn't been there before.. not often, only once, and he had never stopped to look at the scenery. Terrence shoot his head as he leaned back against the trunk, his eye was hurting.. so was his chest, after all, having all those wounds wasn't a good thing. He wasn't even suppose to be outside of the hospital.
Terrence's head shot up as he heard a voice singing. It made him shiver as he hugged himself as he stood up, he had the blanket around his tiny body, making him seem smaller. It was a habbit he had gotten recently.. Hugging himself in a dark blue blanket.
As he walked through the trees, he stopped as he saw a boogie five yards in front of him, it was the creepy boogie that had dragged him there... The small boy just stood there with his large blanket wrapped around him staring at the boogie.

"London Bri--" Pale lips ceased their movement as a sudden sound distracted the boogie. His head turned slowly towards the source of the noise, a curious pout of his lips present on the ivory features.
He was interested in who would actually be out and about in the Orchard; after all, the Undying Garden was much more popular among both boogies and children. Disregarding any unnecessary thoughts, Lucien instead inclined his head to one side slightly, his long fringe slipping to reveal one blue orb.
The eye swiveled around with ease, carefully analyzing each trace of movement within sight. It was odd, really. People, and that's to say both boogies and humans, tried to avoid Lucien at all costs. This wasn't to say he was dangerous; on the contrary, it has never been recorded that the man was violent. The rumours however, proved to be quite frightening. Why, he even knew a few boogieman that made special care to tread carefully around him, especially with their slaves.
"Ahhh," came Lucien's soft sound of realization, "Hello." His gaze had fallen upon a small child wrapped in a blanket. Ordinarily, he would have noticed him almost instantly, but being such a small boy, he was easily over looked.
Lucien was well aware of who the human before him was. It was one of the few children he took from the other world, as a matter of fact. And, if his memory served right-- "Terrence Tao, yes?" As the name flowed from his lips, Lucien's trademark grin slipped into place. "Don't be shy. Come sit with me."

Terrence stared out at the boogie silently clenching onto the blanket around him. He wanted him to sit with him?... The boogie, the one that brought him to this world, was rather creepy.. Still, he looked around worried, he didn't know if this boogie would react violently if he refused.
So, he stared at the boogie as he walked over and sat down three feet from his side. He still stared at him, one of his eyes was noticeably duller than the other. It hadn't been that way when he got to the Boogie Land, but now it was due to a certain blond.
He remained silent as he sat there, not knowing what would happen next.

Silver hair swayed gently as Lucien rocked his head back and forth to an inaudible melody. A hand rose to twirl in the long ribbon dangling from his hat, twisting it loosely around his index finger.
"What brings you to this neck of the woods?" he inquired happily, grinning at the boy not a yard away, "It's rather peaceful, yes. But really, can be quite dangerous." The boogie's finger stilled and slowly reached out to point at Terrence. "You don't want to get hurt, do you?"
Insinuation seemed to scare off most people, Lucien had come to realize. He never laid a single hand on anyone in a violent manner, but the leer in which he often fixed people and the possibility he may in fact lash out always seemed to keep others away. To him, it was almost laughable.
The finger turned around until the palm was facing its owner. Lucien curled the finger inwards twice and giggled. "Come now. You must be cold." Patting the ground beside him gently, the man cocked his head in a childish way.

Terrence looked at Lucien with a tilt of the head. '' I-I was taking a walk and got lost... '' he explained, looking at the boogie with a tilted head. He knew it was dangerous, he wasn't stupid, far from it.
He trembled slightly as he was told to come sit next to the intimidating boogie. He stood up silently and took a seat next to him on the ground. Terrence kept his head dipped low, which he always did. He had almost no self confidence.

Lucien couldn't help the soft chuckle that escaped his lips at the sound of the boy's nervous stuttering. While such fear would excite most boogies, it only served to somewhat amuse him. Not in a sadistic sense, of course. More so in an affectionate, if not a little teasing, way. More often than not, the man enjoyed the company of humans, children especially. They never ceased to bring him some sense of amusement .
Clicking his tongue quietly, Lucien leaned closer to Terrence. "Don't be afraid," he advised softly, poking the child's nose gently with a fingernail, "it's okay." Truth be told, and not that anyone would ever become aware of this, a somewhat paternal instinct rose from the depths of Lucien's soul (if he even has one) while with an innocent.
The silvernette made it a habit to treat everyone equally, regardless of the circumstances. With a giggle here and a smile there, maybe a few makeshift zombies in between, he was rather successful with making a lasting impression. But the boy's fearful disposition perhaps made him a fraction of a bit sensitive.
"Ahhh," Lucien began, giving a nod of his head, "I have a present." Spindly fingers reached inside of his robe and, after a few minutes of childishly pursed lips and rummaging, extracted a long, slender pipe. The man raised one end to his mouth and, carefully forming his lips accurately, blew gently. Several quick and successive whistles were heard. Lowering the instrument, Lucien gave a small hum of appreciation. Within a matter of seconds, a soft rustling was heard, and out from the branches above their heads scurried a small rodent.
The creature climbed onto Lucien's shoulder and, smiling happily, the boogie gently picked it up and held it towards Terrence.
"His name is Jester," he informed the boy, nodding his head with a giggle, "here!" He nudged the sugar glider forward gently, encouraging Terry to take him.

Terrence stared at the small rodent silently. It was something he had never seen before... What was it? He catiously edged his hand towards the strange creature before petting it slightly with two of his small fingers.
'' W-what is it? '' he asked as he looked up at Lucien. '' I've never seen one... '' he whispered quietly as he looked down at it with aw. It was adorable, but he was afraid it would bite him so he stayed catious.
He looked down silently, feeling silly for having asked what it was. He liked being smart, when he didn't know something, he took it personally.

A pink tongue peeked out between two pale lips thoughtfully as the tiny creature scurried along the backs of Lucien's hands. He carefully twisted them around so as to prevent the rodent from falling to the floor.
"A sugar glider," he replied, winking his momentarily visible eye briefly, "They're very playful," he added as it took to nibbling gently on the tips of his fingers.
Slowly retracting his digits from the animal's mouth, Lucien giggled. "Jester's been my companion for a very long time," the boogie nodded, stroking the soft fur, "In fact," he continued and a reminiscent smile graced his features, "this little guy saved my life!"
Lucien spread an arm out to his side, watching as Jester swiftly ran along the length of it, tiny claws clinging to the material of his robe. It paused and lifted its snout into the air for a moment, sniffing at Terry curiously. As if finding him suitable, the rodent licked the boy's cheek gently and even emitted a tiny squeak of confirmation.
"Haha!" an excited laugh broke free of the silvernette's mouth, "I think..he likes you. Heh."
