Shade walked down the halls for like the tenth time today…In the last hour. Finely he jumped up and didn’t come down, he actually jumped up into the ‘web’ he made overhead. And looked around laying on his chest chin in his hands he huffed broadly. “nothing interesting ever happens here.” he sighed flopping over on his back and looked at the roof. Before clicking his nails together and fidgeted with his rings. He then sat up web jiggling slightly as he threw our his hands and send the thread flying toward and then smirked letting it down to the floor. After making the end a slip knot. He was going to catch him something, human or boogie, though kind of hoped it was human due to a boogies sometimes violent temper.
He chuckled and waited……..and waited…….and…well kind of stopped waiting as he drifted off to a slumber up in his web. Curling up he completely forgot about his trap.

Akira was walking down the hallway to head to the kitchen to get something to eat. He lifted a hand to his mouth to stifle a yawn. He didn't sleep well last night. It didn't matter though, Akira could function on little sleep, but hunger? No, he hated being hungry except that it offered a nice distraction from his usual melancholic thoughts. He frowned to himself as he continued. Something told him he had to make some sort of change if he was going to continually be stuck here, but that could come later. After he got a sandwich or something.
He was so focused on getting that food that he wasn't really paying attention to anything around him, and why should he? It was just a hallway. True the chances of running into something here were increased compared to his usual haunts, but at least he could just pass them by without a word here. Akira had no problem in just ignoring people, even if they stopped to talk to him he would just keep going.
It was good in theory, until he suddenly felt a pull on his right ankle and, because he was so wrapped up in trivial thoughts, he didn't stop in time and ended up face down on the floor. He groaned and rubbed his chin where he'd bumped it into the hard floor and looked around.
Akira was not a clumsy person, never had been, never would be and he was sure he felt something almost tugging at his foot. He glared at his ankle and reached over to touch it, yep, definitely something there. He looked around and saw no one until his eyes finally shifted to the ceiling where a figure was dozing in what appeared to be a massive web. Definitely a Boogie. Akira stood up and crossed his arms. "Hey, what's the big idea?!" he asked loudly.

Shade continued his peaceful slumber, though if he was in a contest of some kind for playing a spider he’d fail, he didn’t even feel the vibrations in the web as he caught something. He huffed and groaned slowly sitting up at the sound of a voice. “who…what?” he tilted his head then looked down and jumped a little forgot he was up in his web, then smirked at the human and turned back to him then shifted some and suddenly before knew it he was hanging upside down, in front of the male, now facing him.
“what?” he asked eyes narrowed. It was human, what odd creatures most of them were, but maybe this one could be entertaining? Who knew… “big idea?” he growled eyes narrowing. “nothing, I get one I’ll let you know.” he huffed then pointed at him and made a ‘come here’ gesture with one finger. “but right now you’re my lunch.” he giggled hoping to freak him out.

This Boogie was definitely...creepy, Akira decided as he hung upside down in his web in front of him. His eyes narrowed at the creature's nonchalance. As if he wasn't the one who set this trap. Akira was just annoyed that he had fallen for it in the first place. Suddenly that sandwich didn't seem like it was so important. Dammit, he couldn't believe he'd gotten caught in a trap, he was usually so careful! It wouldn't have been so bad if he didn't get such bad vibes from this Boogie.
Narrowed eyes widened to betray the sudden fear that blossomed when the Boogie crooked his finger and revealed what he intended to do. Shit! Akira stepped back as far as the thread entangled around his ankle would allow and he raised his fists in an act to defend himself if needs be. This was why he hated Boogies, there was rarely a good interaction when it came to running into them.
"Don't you dare try it," he snapped.

Shade blinked at the male smile fading though hard to tell when being upside down… he watched the boy and huffed rolling his eyed he let his arms hang down freely. “I wouldn’t eat you boy!” he halfway hissed at him. “I mean CMON eww?!” he stuck his tung out at him then looked at his foot and giggled.
He folded his arms then brushed his hair back and watched the male. Then sighed pulling a arm out a little waveringly seemed blood was rushing to him or least he seemed to be getting a bit dizzy, he reached for him and missed then huffed annoyed. “put your fists away!” he giggled then started laughing. “ouch!” he gasped reaching upward trying to pull himself up. “ick!” he gasped and wavered around for a moment then waved his arms at the guy. “I’m stuck!” he shouted.
“HELP ME UP!” he shouted looking at him like the boy was a idiot for standing there. Only then he froze and eyes grew wide. “uh-oh…” he gulped then winced as he heard a snapping sound. “CRAP!” he shouted but was muffled as he fell and then all the webbing above them fell onto of both males in a large….mess. Least enough to cover them both. “my head!” Shade groaned……….

Akira frowned. Damn, he walked right into that prank too. Had he really just shown fear to this guy? He narrowed his eyes slightly. Perfect, he was going to have to be more careful around this one. "You seem creepy enough to want to eat someone," he retorted. Childish...yeah sort of, but it made him feel better at least. Confrontation was something he didn't mind.
At first he wasn't going to dare put his fists down, but as the scene progressed, Akira did drop his hands to his side and lofted a brow. Was this guy...serious? "You're...stuck in your own web?" he muttered, raising a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose. He'd been freaked out by this Boogie? He seemed more a clown than anything. Of course, that could be another trap, a false sense of security...He kept his eyes on the other.
"Why would I--" he began but didn't get to finish because before he could the Boogie came crashing down, web and all. Akira groaned as he tried to sit up and realized that the web was all over them. He glared at the Boogie. "What the hell?!" he demanded. "If my hands were currently stuck in this crap I'd pummel you right now!"
Akira tried to pull his hands free but damn, the stuff was strong. He huffed in annoyance and continued to glare at the Boogie. "You better make this crap disappear."

Shade groaned, ticked to use lighter words for the time being. “I didn’t do this!” he shouted then clawed his away up to the top and hissed. Spitting some out. “grouse!” he shouted and then yelped. “all in my hair” he whined. Of all times WHY did he use this almost real like webbing? Well…the other more wirely kind didn’t stick and it hurt to sit---never mind.
he turned pink and looked away “I cant make it disappear…and…ah never mind.,” he growled and tried to pull himself out. “da** it!” he hissed. And pulled then looked towards the male and eyes narrowed. “my other arm was free….id most likely hit me too.” he sighed then closed his eyes tightly before making a ick face and tugging some more.
“now I have to wash my hair…my clothes again. Stated then seemed to sink. “stop moving, it only makes it worse.” he stated then eyes narrowed as he would most likely regret himself, saying what he did next. “thank god….there are no giant spiders around here.” he chuckled sweat dropped.

Akira could move a foot, that was a start. He shot the other a venomous look. "Oh of course you didn't," he said. "You just happened to find a giant spider web and decided to sit in it." He had to agree with the Boogie on one thing though. This was gross. He finally managed to move his hand a bit and frowned. "Gross? I think you mean disgusting," he glowered.
He took a deep breath to calm himself down. All right, they were stuck...in a giant web in the middle of the hallway. The Boogie couldn't get it to disappear, so...what? Were they really going to just have to sit here and wait for someone to find them? Akira thought of some of the other Boogies that wandered around and frowned. No, he didn't like that option at all. There had to be a way. He'd fought through a lot of things, he was sure he'd be able to claw his way out of this and he continued trying to force the stubborn thread apart.
"Oh yes, such a tragedy that you have to wash your hair," Akira grumbled. "I would have been enjoying lunch right now if it wasn't for you." He continued to glare when he was told to stop moving. "Sorry, not really in the mood to just wait around for something to find us," he said. He frowned at the mention of a big spider. "...Word of advice, stating worse case scenarios when you're still trapped is never a good idea."

Shade groaned loudly. “typical human.” he huffed and took a deep breath then twitched. “did not. I made that web!” he shouted then paused. “and before you comment on that logic…NO not that way!” he shouted then brushed back his hair. Then took a deep breath. “aright…” he pulled his hand out and looked at his nails before looking up in the rafters. “alright.” he nodded.
He threw his fingers upward and out as webbing seemed to appear out of nowhere and shoot upward until it wrapped around one of the rafters of the roof. He let it brake from his nails as he took hold of it and gave a yank making sure it was sturdy, as he grabbed hold ready to pull himself out…what would he do with the boy afterward? Would he really help him? Shade sighed rolling his eyes some then let go of the ‘rope’ and looked towards the human before batting it towards him with the palm of his hand.
“don’t just sit there grab it and pull yourself out.” he stated almost rudely. And watched him.

Akira was about to comment despite being told not to until he realized that wouldn't get him anywhere and what did it matter? Wouldn't change the fact that he was stuck in this nasty stuff. Therefore he shut his mouth and just glared, even if it wasn't effective at least he was doing something. Sort of...mainly just sitting there wasn't doing much though and he sighed as the absurdity of the situation really sank in. Someone was going to see them, and probably laugh and Akira hated to be laughed at. Stupid Boogie.
He watched with some fascination, however, when the Boogie spun that web-like thread from his fingers to make a rope. Fascination and a little bit of distaste. He hated Boogies, it was their fault he was here in the first place and though he may have been lucky to get stuck with this one, more often than not Boogies tended to treat humans horribly. He'd heard stories that he would have rather gone without.
Akira blinked in surprise when the rope was suddenly tossed his way. He was sure that the Boogie would just use it to pull himself out and then leave Akira there for some laughs, wouldn't have shocked him. He looked at the Boogie with a somewhat bewildered expression before he steeled his features and grasped the makeshift rope and using all his strength, pulled himself free of the fallen web. He tossed the rope back to the Boogie and began to fiercely brush himself off.
"Well that was an experience I could have done without," he said sourly.

Shade watched him calmly now. Almost as If deeply annoyed but not showing it he watched him pull himself out then took the rope and pulled himself out slowly trying not to yank his hair out then jumped off landing on his feet and took a deep breath before falling forward hands on his knees he sighed deeply and exhaled. Then worked on brushing off and picking the webs out of his hair and then shook slightly then smirked and smiled and leaned against the wall. “see no problem.” he smiled and chuckled lightly before he paused and stared off into space.
“I’m sorry.” he said shyly….strange Shade’s mood changed so often, he was actually embarrassed right now….though had the male caught him any other time he might have tortured him to death with something of really hung him upside down from the roof in a cocoon.

"No problem?" Akira backfired. "I'm going to be pulling this junk from my clothes for hours. I find that to be a problem." Okay, so he was irritated and that made him unreasonable. Akira didn't care about his appearance so much that he'd make sure to get every single strand. He'd just go and change and that would be that. Still, he felt that this Boogie needed telling off for setting this stupid trap in the first place. He was about to do just that when he received an apology.
It was like the large rant building up in his mind deflated and Akira just stared at the Boogie. Was he...embarrassed? Akira had never seen an embarrassed Boogie before. Did that mean that he was actually sorry? Akira frowned. He wasn't prepared for that and it seemed kind of pointless to yell at the Boogie if he had already apologized.
"That's....well....ugh!" Akira groaned. "What the hell? You make it impossible for me to snap at you when you go and say you're sorry." He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. He should just forget about it and move on, stop focusing on the embarrassing scene and forget it ever happened. His shoulders slumped slightly and he shook his head, feeling suddenly exhausted. "You know what? Just forget it, it's fine," he sighed.
