The chord struck out hauntingly in the darkness. Echoing against the walls. The music room was empty save for one person. Estella Thane with her guitar. The instrument vibrated in her arms as her fingers deftly raced over the strings. The grand pianos stood abandoned, untouched as she closed her eyes, letting the music take her over. There was no muttering from her guitar, for the moment Umbra was simply letting the music flow without interruption and for that Estella was grateful otherwise she may have been tempted to smash his spirit out of the guitar. She began to hum quietly before her hand moved more quickly and suddenly her eyes snapped open and she opened her mouth to sing. "Trust and you'll be trusted Says the liar to the fool Lust and so what if you're busted? In love and war there ain't no rules
Do you believe in forever? I don't even believe in tomorrow The only things that last forever Are memories and sorrow
Out of sight out of mind The motto of betrayal The prophets preach to forgive and forget I'm sorry, but I am unable" Her head swayed to the pace she was setting, the guitar screamed out the notes and her voice grew with the progression of the song. Finally she struck down on the strings once more and threw back her head, her voice fading away with the last chord. Her chest heaved for a few moments before slowing and she lowered her head, gazing at the room. "Did you have fun?" the echoing voice of Umbra asked. Estella smirked. "You mean you couldn't tell? You're getting old," she chastised, earning a grumbled retort. She slung her guitar carelessly to the top of one of the pianos and sat down on the bench, crossing her legs, her foot swaying to a beat inside her head. She stretched and leaned back against the piano keys. "I swear if you leave me on this thing I swear I will leave this guitar and go possess something vile," Umbra warned. "You're not vile already?" she asked, obliging his request and grabbing the guitar from the piano to hold in her lap. "Hmm we may need to hunt for some excitement soon, Umbra."

No idea why he was out and about at this time. Again the human loving Boogie seemed to be forced away from the things he liked doing, mainly he was a doctor at the hospital one of the few willing to help the so called ‘creatures’ known as humans. It annoyed him, but he couldn’t do much about it.
And Boogies were starting to talk…they disliked a boogie they would call a ‘Human-want-to-be’ though Yojin found the thought worth pondering it was indeed impossible though questionable what he would rather be, meaning if his brother knew….he’d be more frightening then any Boogie who’d disliked Yojin so far.
He just kept walking down the halls aimlessly as he heard a noise, sounded like someone was having a fun time. Though if they were human they’d get in trouble for being loud maybe? He sighed lightly and went to investigate, more so out of curiosity. It seemed as he got to the door whoever inside stopped playing, hopefully that wasn’t his fault, though they seemed to be done, not to mention the voice of a woman. He pushed his glasses up and brushed his hair back a little before slowly turning the door knob and pushing the said door open enough to peek inside then just opened it enough to step inside. “hello?” he called out not seeing anyone at first kind of unnerved him.
But then he spotted a woman sitting on a piano bench. And she was a Boogie, though this unnerved him he remained calm and collected and just smiled. “I heard you playing.” he stated. “Very nice.” he smiled. “sorry if I interrupted.” he said waving a small hand. Then looked like he was about to leave already. Unless she needed anything.

Estella yawned lazily and was about to leave when she heard someone calling 'hello'. She glanced over towards the door and saw someone approaching. Another Boogie. Estella didn't know him, but that didn't matter to her. She enjoyed company and she didn't have a problem with any of the other Boogies as far as she knew, so why not have a little fun?
Besides, it was nice to hear someone compliment her music. Estella usually didn't get a lot of praise for it. Her parents warned her that it was a human activity, that she should stick to some decorative piano playing and lay the offensive guitar behind. Of course, Estella didn't listen to them and only played it more. She winked at the other Boogie, her lips curling into a devious grin. "Thanks," she said, giving the guitar a light pat. She shook her head. "And you weren't interrupting anything, I was just finishing up."
She noticed that he seemed to be ready to leave and she canted her head to the side. "Do you play anything?" she asked, gesturing to the piano where she sat. "I can never find anyone who's interested in music...well, in playing music anyway." Estella stood up and crossed the room over to where he stood, ignoring the grumbles from Umbra as he was left behind on the bench. She was being well behaved, usually she was far more likely to ignore social boundaries and etiquette, but on rare occasion she could be polite.
"I'm Estella Thane, by the way," she said, surveying his features to get them memorized. She always liked to know the people she passed.

Yojin stopped looking back towards the woman and smiled. Least she seemed friendly, or least hadn’t insulted him for ‘smelling like a human’ as some Boogies told him. But any who he wasn’t about to leave and ignore her, he stepped back inside the room as she also stood and walked towards him speaking. He smiled again and pushed up his glasses. “Yes, I enjoy music.” he nodded then paused. “ah hah…I suppose I tried to learn to play the Piano, only I’m not vary good.” he chuckled shrugging it off. The human that was teaching him to play died so the lesions kind of stopped there.
He watched her and smiled again, kindly. “I an Yojin Akamara.” he gave a small bow. “it’s a pleasure to meet you, It’s never seen you about before.” he added also taking note of her. “ah so…” he fidgeted some and rubbed the back of his neck. “how did you uhm, learn to play?” he asked tilting his head some. “It seems hard to find anyone who can play anything besides some Humans.” he added. It seemed some Boogies used there humans for entertainment if they could play music.
Yojin stayed close but took a few steps out into the room folding his hands behind his back and looked around. “always seems peaceful in here though.” he stated pushing up his glasses again he turned back towards her, he was naturally nervous around anyone….but tried not to let it show. Or least he hoped it wasn’t, he mentally kicked himself and sighed slightly relaxing.

Estella lofted a brow and snickered softly. "Don't know how to play?" she asked. She hummed a bit. "Well I suppose if you like music then you're okay in my book...for now," she teased. She could smell human on him, but Estella wasn't the type of Boogie to care. She didn't particularly like humans, in fact, she did view them as lower than Boogies, but at the same time, she didn't give a shit about what people did, as long as it didn't interfere with her life then why waste time worrying?
Her smile faltered slightly as he seemed to struggle with what to say. Was Yojin a shy Boogie? The word 'shy' never really fit into her vocabulary so she just didn't understand the nation of the emotion and thus couldn't determine whether Yojin was or not. She lifted her lips again and placed her hands on her hips, leaning forward slightly and scrutinizing him. "I learned to play...from humans," she admitted with a grin. "I listened to their music, their rock n roll and I fell in love with it. I got myself a guitar and I spent centuries learning how to play." She chuckled slightly and turned her gaze to one of the large windows. "Of course, such a hobby wasn't particularly looked favorably upon by my parents, but I don't really follow rules."
Her gaze returned to him and she shrugged. "It is peaceful, until I get in here," she said. "As you undoubtedly heard on the way over here, my music tends to be a bit loud," it was clear from her tone that she didn't care if such a thing bothered others, she was a little too self-centered for such worries. Her eyes brightened and she snapped her fingers together. "You should try to learn how to play again," she urged. "It'd be great to get a little more involved, we can be the first Boogie rock team," she wasn't being completely serious, she was more looking forward to his reaction. "I mean, you have a LONG time to learn how to perfect your technique," she pointed out.

“huh?” Yojin blinked a little this woman sure wasn’t shy with her words he looked away a little flustered but not with her really he paused chuckling lightly. “suppose I could.” he said. Then laughed lightly. “I’m sure.” he smirked about her parents not likening her music. “well,…my brother hated anything about humans and taught me to do the same.” he stated. “yet here I am….I’m a Doctor for them.” he said trailing off voice growing a bit quitter.
He smirked at her idea. “a band?” he asked then chuckled. “I don’t know really.” he shrugged pushing up his glasses. “don’t think I would do well under pressure.” he laughed then nodded. “all I really know are a few songs on the piano and nothing extravagant.” he smirked. Walking about a few more paces then turned back towards her and smiled. Before his mind drifted to think of his brother….oh how Trentus would despise him now….if he knew, no wonder he hadn’t seeked him out or something yet. He’d have Yojin’s head….
He walked towards one of the piano’s and ran his hand over the fine smooth surface. “I don’t think….I could play anymore.” he looked away it was odd, why did he suddenly feel so ….sad? But he still smiled. “its just something, I have no talent for.” he stated, besides….how longer could a Boogie live anyways? It almost as he wished he was ‘mortal’ like the humans….they didn’t live to long or shortly, in there world anyways… but this was silly, he quickly shook his head be riding any other stupid meaningless thoughts and sat down on one of the stools, and glanced towards where her guitar sat. “even if just humans, I bet you could find some who would enjoy your music.” he smiled pushing his glasses up.

Hmm hadn't she heard about this Boogie? There had certainly been talk about a Boogie that seemed a bit too fond of humans. Estella had never been bothered about those rumors, because they didn't involve her. She smiled a bit deviously. "Going against dear brother's orders?" she asked. She chuckled a bit and shrugged. "I respect that, going against the norm and all. Besides, no other Boogies want to be doctor to humans." She certainly wouldn't. She may not go out and torture humans but helping them was stretching it a bit too.
He was endearing in a sort of way. Estella didn't live by 'I can't', even if she couldn't do something, she never admitted defeat. It's not like she looked down on him for saying he wasn't cut out for playing, especially for a band, but it was a new sort of thought process for her. "Hmm, really? Well I suppose it's up to you, of course," she said. She winked. "If I play for people you're obligated to go though," she teased, waving dismissively to let him know she was kidding around with him.
Estella watched him as he went towards one of the piano's and then glanced over at her guitar. She knew that Umbra was watching the entire thing, he would undoubtedly bring it up later, most likely say something derogatory because that's just how Umbra worked. The idea of performing for humans was...strange to her. It might be fun to let them think she was on their side only to let them know the truth afterward. She grinned. "Humans liking my music...now there's a thought," she said, crossing the room to grab the guitar and sling it over her shoulder.
She lifted her gaze from the guitar to look at him again and smirked. "Think that would get me in the bad books of the other Boogies?" she asked, almost hopeful. Estella thought the idea of causing tension would be fun.
