Thumb. Thumb. Thumb. Thumb.
The sound seemed to echo through the silent hallway this fine evening. The season had finally turned cold, but that did not stop one fair individual from having fun, cold or not.
Thumb. Thumb. Thumb. Thumb.
The pace of small feet picked up as the person was stomping their feet as they ran, which is possible. But the slapping of bare and small feet grew louder. What on earth could be causing such a sound? Actually who was running down the halls? This sound had been going on for the past hour. Of someone running up and down the halls like a frightened deer.
Smack. Slam. Crash. Ding!
As if a camera was finally zooming in on what was causing the noise. We see a small girl running down the hall with what appeared to be a rubber duckie on a string being pulled along--or rather flying behind her. And this rubber duckie was crashing into things as she ran and screaming.
"Go away Duckie! I hate you! I hate you! You are evil! You take my cookies!" She cried out and turned, slamming her foot into it for a high kick. The string that must of been attached to her leg somehow finally came off and the duckie flew into the air.
With a look of deep satisfactions she held her hands out in a "Y" fashion as if she had just did a touch down in gymnastics. "Hmpf!" She said with a snort.
Bonk!
The duckie came down and smacked her in the head and then bounced away. This prompt a scream coming from her then. "AH! I Killish you! Duckie!"
Ah, the joys of four year olds.
