Appearance:
Lavender is very slight of frame, but not anorexic. She usually keeps to comfortable clothing, uncaring to what others say or think about her. The color of her clothing tends to be either bright and exciting, or gray and melancholy with no happy medium. This is because she often paints or makes pottery so depending on her mood and her planned activities, she dresses accordingly.
She is tall for the area she lives in and she wears her hair long and slightly choppy with long bangs that she pushes to the side of her face. (She cuts it herself) Everything about her is pale, from her white-blond hair, her flesh, and her light pink lips and her deep crystal baby blue eyes.
Personality:
Lavender doesn’t really talk much, just when she feels like it’s necessary or when she’s angry. She will also speak so she can deal out a piece of wisdom here or there. She can’t stand to see anyone mistreated and has a hard time holding her tongue (and herself) back when she probably should. She is very protective of those younger than she is and will take a beating for to protect them if she needs to.

[/color]Father: Joshua Marriott (47)Deceased
Mother: Rebecca Marriott (43) Presumed Deceased
Sibling/s: Jessica Marriott (6) Deceased
History:
Her mother was an actress, so when there was a show going on she wasn’t really home much and her father was a writer so he lived in his office on his typewriter. She lived a simple life. She was smart and could get really get anything she wanted, but she didn’t want much so she refused to let herself be spoiled. Lavender loved to help backstage on the set, painting, creating; she also loved to illustrate her father’s elaborate books. The young girl could take piece of text and make it come alive with swirls of color and light.
Lavender was very close to her little sister Jessica. They spent hours together, drawing, coloring, playing with finger paints, whatever little Jessica had in her little head, the did. The last thing Lavender ever got to do with her sister was put on a puppet show with a set they had built together, with puppets they had made from a new package of socks and brown paper bags, and with their favorite box of markers; the scented kind. They were doing a play about the boogieman.

He knew something was about to happen but he played his part in the game and ignored the giggle coming from the hallway just outside his door. He also ignored the whispered Shh! from his eldest daughter in her attempt not to laugh in excitement too. Joshua Marriott started to whistle as he saved his latest work so that it wouldn’t be lost in the oncoming assault. That was their unwritten signal that he was ready to be interrupted. Suddenly his office lights went off and little swirls of light provided by flashlights filled the darkness.
“Prepare for the best show extrava-gan-gaza!” Jessica Marriott hollered into the small space as she jumped into her daddy’s lap. She was decked out in all sorts of makeup, applied by herself, and the little girl had on one of her big sister’s sweaters so the sleeves hung over her little arms. “Sissy and I have a show to put on! Hurry Daddy or you’ll be late,” the little girl, said in such a matter of fact tone. Joshua couldn’t help but chuckle at his daughters. “Then what are we waiting for? We don’t want to be late!”
They all hurried to the living room where Rebecca Marriott was waiting for them, this was the girl’s mother and the man’s beloved wife. There was a drop set sitting in the living room, painted a dark navy color, the border surrounded by stars and moons and other dreamscape images. He sat down next to his wife on the couch while the little ringleader and her big sister got ready. “Now Ladies and Gentlemens!”
“Gentlemen silly!” Lavender corrected.
“Oh yeah! Gentlemen. Prepare yourselves for the bestest show ever! Except for Mommies shows, but Mommy doesn’t have puppets! Now if my assistant will get ready.” This was Lavender’s cue to go back behind the little set and get her puppets ready. Lavender was the puppet master and was the voice for most of the puppets; Jessica was the narrator and helped make up the stories. So needless to say every show was different. Lavender put her hands into their little puppets and stuck them up so they showed in the little square that was the ‘stage’
The two of them then told their parents the story of a little girl, who got lost in the woods and was nearly eaten by a boogieman, but the little girl outsmarted the boogie at every turn and shoved him into a lake and all the goldfish ate him because they thought he was bread. At the end of the show Rebecca and Joshua clapped enthusiastically for their children. “And that is why Sissy and I need a pet goldfish!” Jessica ended with. “We’ll see baby. Now! It’s time for you to get to bed!” Responded her mother.
“Just one game of hide and seek before you leave? Please? Please? Please?!” This was going to be a late night for Rebecca it was dress rehearsal night and she wasn’t going to be back until early in the morning. Joshua finally consented in place of Rebecca, “Just one honey? Their show was so good, we can give them just one game.” “All right, just one! Goodbye kids! Goodnight. I love you. And I love you too.” She whispered to her husband. He smiled at her and gave her a kiss goodbye as she left.
“Alright! Get on that game while I clean up the office a bit. Then off to bed with you Jessica!”
“I seek and you hide Sissy!”
“Okay Jessica Rabbit, no peeking!” Lavender went off to hide and she knew just the place, underneath the kitchen sink. There was plenty of room in the cupboard. As she hurried away she could hear her sister’s attempt at counting slowly, but she was going rather quick so Lavender hurried her pace to make it in time. Almost the exact moment she situated herself in the small space she heard her little sister rummaging around in the rooms. She could hear her moving around upstairs when there was a sudden thud. Lavender rolled her eyes at the sound, her little sister had knocked something over in her excitement.
Lavender listened to the small footsteps down the stairs and then the heavier footsteps following. Those weren’t her father’s footfalls… The girl opened the door a little bit so she could see into the dining room through the kitchen. What she saw paralyzed her where she sat. It was a stranger in their home, and he was covered in blood. That thud… no! It couldn’t have been her father! NO! ’Oh please Jessica! Stay in the living room! I know you know he’s in here, please just hide!’ she pleaded in her mind. Her worst nightmares came to life in such a short time. “Lavender! Where are you?” Jessica yelled as she turned the corner coming into the dining room from the living room. The poor little girl had no idea the intruder was there, and the intruder didn’t know she was there either. But now he did, and she had startled him. So he shot her out of impulse.
“NO JESSICA!!!” Lavender would have jumped out of the cupboard if she hadn’t have been jerked back into the darkness by a boogie. “JESSICA!” Lavender screamed one more time but only the darkness listened.
