The child in the mirror was quite cute. Her slender figure was drapped in ocean-blue and lavender, with skin like ivory keys and eyes the color of burt gold. Her fragile hand, thin a bone, brushed against the glass wall carefully, because she knew one false movement could shatter it. One false press of her finger, one wrong flick of the wrist...and it would crack and shatter. But the little girl was to innocent to destory something so delicate. At least so it would appear. Jasmine, her hand agianst the mirror, smiled. And so did her reflection.
Hade's sat on a lighting ficture overhead, eyeing his owner. He was whistling a familiar tune, soft and sweet, providing Jasmine with a lullaby background. Her eyes lifted to the blue bird, almost glowing in the moonlight, then returned to the mirror. She knew the words, even if she didn't remember how she came to know the song. But she was nervous. She didn't want anyone hear her singing and find her. Or maybe she wanted someone to know she was there. Either way, the girl in the mirror opened her mouth, letting the words fall in with the music.
Jasmine pressed her hand harder on the glass, feeling it crack under her sheer force. In that split second, the innocent child in the mirror became her again. Broken face and all. "I guess I owe the slave who has to fix this." she sighed, lowering her arm. A few diamond shards fell to the ground around her feet. Hades cooed above her, remidning her there was one verse left. Jazz's smile lessened, but she finished on her familiar's request.

"The faint scent of tears
On my rain soaked cheeks...
The warm look on the face
Of travelers...
"The music from our childhood
Faintly echoes in the background...
The memories I hopelessly try to remember
Wander aimlessly...
"But with these tiny wings, launched by my dreams,
Over distant oceans and skies...
We'll soar together...
To a place where memories never fade..."

"You light up the way for me
In the darkness of night...
Oh, that warm look
On your face...
I miss you so much..."
