Appearance:

Sori doesn't take a whole lot of care into his appearance. His hair, red as his sisters, is usually a mess because he doesn't care to comb it after he gets out of bed. The same goes for his clothes. Not much thought or effort goes into what he wears. He likes what is comfortable not what looks good. Therefore he'll usually were nothing but lose jeans, shirts that are a size to big, and his gray hoodie. Sori wears his hoodie a lot, even past the needs-a-wash point. It's his absolute favorite piece of clothing. Some could even say that it's his security blanket. But I would refrain from saying that directly to him.

Other than obviously being a boy, Sori looks almost identical to his twin Aione. Their hair is the same dark red and their eyes are the same strange silver coloring. The only thing that really sets them apart appearance wise would be Sori's towering height compared to his sister.

Personality:
Sori isn't exactly a ray of sunshine like his sister. In fact his personality is nothing like Aione's. Most of the time he is grumpy and has a sort of pessimistic disposition. He tends not to smile or laugh so much. Only Aione has the talent to make him to do it. He is very protective of her. So incredibly much that he's very suspicious of anyone who comes close to Aione. Especially that Tristan guy. Psh.

However, the most distinguishing personality trait that Sori possesses is by far his temper. Quick to enrage, Sori has a tough time making friends and even a tougher time keeping them. He can go from calm to irate in less a second. The only person he doesn't ever go off on is his twin. No matter how annoying she is.

How Their Life Is / Was

History:
Family life wasn't the greatest in the Higurashi household. Growing up, Sori's parents spent a lot of their time falling in and out of love with each other. Everyday he would walk home after school with apprehension tying a knot in his chest. It grew larger and harder when his parents were happy with each other. That meant that soon there would be an explosion and the longer the explosion was put off the bigger it would be when it did blow up. It was a monster that fed on Sori's nerves and it drained him until he was empty of his happiness.

Well, almost. There still was a small sparkle of light that kept Sori going everyday. Aione was his rock and he was hers and together they were able to stay standing. More than once did Sori almost not make it home from school but Aione would remind him that he would be nothing without her. Sometimes Sori would beg Aione to run away with him but she would not abandon the little ones, Ayra and Motoko.

Then things went from bad to worse when Ai started seeing things. Whether the ghosts or monster where real or not became irrelevant to him. The fact was that Aione was distressed and she needed help. Eventually her suffering became too much for Sori and he had to get help, but the only help he could think of was from Viola and Tobi. Now he regrets ever going to them with all of his heart. Things turned from worse to dreadful. There were doctors and medical tests, drugs and needles. Aione's conditioned worsened beyond Sori's fears. His parents talked of putting her away into an asylum which was absolutely unacceptable to Sori.

He found himself not being able to go home, not even to Aione. It was too much for him, he was a coward. He beat himself up over it. Feeling guilty for abandoning Ai in that home by herself. Selfish. Coward. Sori started to hang around with the wrong crowd, finding drugs and alcohol as a release to his problems. He began stealing to pay for his new found releif. SOri dug himself into a lot of trouble and spent even less time with Aione. He only returned home to check up on her, to hold her and listen to her from time to time. Until the guilt would swallow him up and he couldn't breathe.

Then one day he came home to an empty room. Aione was gone. The smell of her was already growing faint in her room. He turned and shouted at Viola and Tobi, verbally attacking them until his throat grew raw. He tore apart the kitchen until they called the police. At which point Sori found himself and ran. He never came back. He knew they had admitted Aione to that asylum. He knew that it was all his fault.

For a long time he roamed from city to city, checking each institution for Aione. Viola and Tobi refused to tell Sori where they had put her and in fact told him that she was missing. He didn't understand why they bnothered to keep lying. Out of anger and also the risk of having the police sent after him, Sori cut off connections to his parents. He lived in shelters when the risk was low or otherwise any place dry on the street. Most of the money he came into went to alcohol or drugs if he could get them. He never stopped looking for Aione. Not once.
