Appearance:

Much like her brother, Motoko doesn't often worry about her apperance. When it comes to looks, she just wants to look semi-presentable. Her hair, naturally black but dyed blue, reaches down to her mid-back, and is terribly difficult to tame. Her blue eyes are like saphires, her mother’s eyes, glowing almost sea-green in the right light. Clothing-wise, Moto sticks to the 'comfortable and affordable' style...no designer brands or tight, seductive clothes for her. Every outfit she owns involves blue jeans and a baggy shirt, with the occasional jean jacket. The only somewhat-fancy thing she ever wears is a gold key necklace, a gift from her big sister.

Personality:

Motoko has always been the peace-keeper of the family. Quiet by nature, stubborn by nessecity, crazy by choice, and understanding for the sake of her family, she's always trying her hardest to take care of others. Which normally ends up backfiring if the person she's taking care of is super pissed off. Moto has a problem with making angry people angrier, but never on purpose. She also has a sense of humor that is both unpredictable and sometimes dark, popping out when the going gets to be to tough.

History:

Motoko's family life sucked. That about sums it up. Viola and Tobi always fought, falling in and out of love with the flick of a switch. The Higurashi kids never knew what kind of home they were going back to, happy or broken, sit-com or tragedy. Sori, the oldest brother, kept getting deeper and deeper into the bad crowd, while Aione followed his footsteps until she broke, losing herself and her mind. Ayra played favorite with the feuding parents, jumping from side to side when things were bad and playing 'saftey glue' when they were better. Motoko, the child, watched thing fall and shatter.

One day, Aione went missing. Since Sori was out and her parents discussing other 'matters', Motoko went looking for her big sister by herself. She returned every night, claiming playdates kept her out after school, until one day Sori came back home to find Ai gone...and he disappeared as well. Motoko begged for help from Ayra, the parents of her friends, and the police, but nobody could understand why such promising children would run off in the first place. As a last resort, Motoko left for school one day with her parents saving in her backpack. She called Ayra from a payphone with a message of regret, then vanished from her family forever.
