Shirogane was sitting on a large rock in the middle of the Orchard. Legs crossed in front of him, elbow on his knee and chin in the palm of his hand he sat there semi bored look on his face, he took a deep breath then sighed closing his bright blue eyes.
His pale slender body matched his long braded white hair that flowed down past his shoulder and back, and rested on the ground just off the bolder he sat upon. His cane sat beside him leaning on the rock, and his hat sitting upon it. his long black dressy coat fluttered lightly in the breeze as did his bangs. He took a deep breath again half opening his eyes.
“no humans, no boogies….its so lonely here.” he sighed, oh how he wanted to play with someone! He needed interaction so badly! He shifted then laid back on the rock. looking up at the sky. Halfway covering his eyes with his forearm to block some of the bright light from his eyes. Then stretched out his arms on the rock. “ahhh” he half shouted then huffed rolling over.

"Oooh" Aira groaned as she lay star-fish style somewhere amidst all of the fruit trees. Beside her lay the discarded remains of her gluttany. Dark pits of different sizes lay without there plum, peach and mango coverings while cores of apples and the peels of mandarins add to the gory evidence. Nothing else remains of the flavorful fruit. Fruit that Aira had never tasted before now. And now, as her stomach bulges uncomfortably against her skin in an incredibly sharp way, she wishes she hadn't tasted them. At least not so many of them.
"Owie, owie, owie.." Muttered Aira as she rolled over onto her knees. A tight fist wrapped around her stomach as she stood and then slowly began her way through the maze of the fruit trees. She would have stayed and let her stomach settle some if it weren't for that annoying sun. It irritated her skin as well as her eyes and she wished to be inside. In fact it irritated her eyes so much that she had to cover them almost completetly with her hand to get any releif.
That's when her foot crashed into a large rock. She cried out in pain as she flew forward onto what she only saw for a moment as a person with white hair. Pain ricocheted from her stomach to her foot and back. |

Shirogane had continued to just watch the clouds. When he’d finely fallen asleep on his side not minding any of the world around him for a few moments. Well this was until there was a small thumping sound near him, he could have also sword he felt something touch him. “uh?” he opened his eyes blinking, as the sun shone in them, Then suddenly 'THUD', someone landed on top of him!? And both toppled over the rock and on the grass. Shiro groaned a little disoriented, and blinked his big blue eyes a few times then looked up and around at the person on top of him. A girl? He smiled kindly ignoring any pain till later. “Hello.” he giggled.
Such a little girl out here by herself? no she was a Boogie, and she wasnt to young. He slowly tried to sit up, as he tried to carefuly help her off at the same time.blinking a few times still, then glanced around. “are you alright?.” he smiled warmly. Watching her closely but he still sat there relaxed and a warm smile. she didn’t look like she fell to hard, but maybe could be hurt though, never be to sure, ya know?
"My, I dont think we have met." he smiled with a small chuckel and blush.

For a moment Aira had difficulty making sense of which way was up and which was down. The bright sun was disorienting, especially while one is falling over. "Owie... " She whined quietly as she lifted her head.
"Hello" said the giggling ground. Aira shot up into a sitting position on top of the man. No, she could see it was a Boogie. It was a Boogie's nap that she had just ruined. Damn! Her first encounter with someone from Wonderland and she has to mess it up. A deep blush spread across her white cheeks as he helped her to move off of him.
“Are you alright?.”
Aira nodded, embarrased at her situation. She tried her best to get a good look at the Boogie, but the sun was too irritating. Aira placed her hand over her eyes once again, like she had before. "I'm sorry, sir. I wasn't watching were I was going."
"My, I dont think we have met."
Excitment and nervousness took up occupation with the fruit in her stomach. She had hardly spoken with anyone except her mother and brother. Thankfully this Boogie seemed nice, polite at least. Especially when he had no reason to act that way towards someone who fell on top of him so rudely. "My name is Aira. This is my first time in wonderland. I'm very happy to be here." These were words that have been planned out for months. Her small practiced small appeared on her face and she put out her hand to be shook in greeting. That's what she heard people do when they first met, so she hoped she was not being offensive. |

Shirogane giggled lightly sitting up fully now he looked to her poor thing seemed embarrassed. Lastly she put her hand over her the sun must be in them? He thought and watched her as she spoke. Saying she wasn’t paying attention, and she was sorry. “Aww no It’s alright young lady.” he stated warmly with a cheerful smile. Watshing the younger Boogie she spoke again. “Aira” he repeated and smiled. “what a pretty name.” he stated with a small nod and watched her.
After a moment he paused. Thinking….first time in Wonderland? How could that be? wasn’t she a Boogie? He blinked his blue eyes a few times a little confused now. He wanted to ask, but he pushed that aside for now incase asking her, hurt her feelings, or perhaps drug up hurtful memories? He just smiled and then held out his hand slowly to shake hers’ softly. “I am Shirogane.” he giggled faintly. Just such a cute girl he loved kids.
“But you could have run into anything , like that.” he stated then looked around and picked up his hat dusting it off with his other hand he slowly sat back up and leaned toward her and places the hat softly on her head, hoping she didn’t mind, and she could fix it however she wanted too. “that might help.” he chuckled. “you can barrow it a while if you like.” he nodded.

As the hat was placed on her head, Aira cinched it down to just above her eyebrows. It perfectly shaded her eyes and she was able to get a good look at the Boogie called Shirogane for the first time. She could tell that he had many years over her piddly fifteen. Not that he looked old, he just seemed more knowledgable than younger persons such as herself. It also made Aira a little concerned for what he thought of her. She did not want to be looked down upon as if she were a baby. But in reality, she practically was. Especially in Boogie terms.
"Neato Musquito!" Aira exclaimed with her hands on the rims of the hat, "I mean.. This hat is of particularly nice quiality." She corrected herself. Also she sat up straighter and folded her hands neatly in her lap, trying to look older. It was especially important to her to gain the respect of the first Boogie, that she was not related to, she has ever met. "I would very much indeed like to borrow this hat." Maybe she was overdoing it a little? It was hard for her to tell since she has had very little social interactions. |

Shirogane looked at the girl once over again. Realizing she was so young. But still should one her age not have been around other Boogies yet? Either way, as curious as he was he didn’t mind one bit! He then paused and blinked as she spoke that word kind made him smile. Then she corrected herself, he didn’t mind it either way though. He smiled and gave a chuckle and tilted his head in a friendly manner. “it looks good on you.” he stated with a nod. “Barrow it as long as you wish.” he nodded and shook a finger playfully then relaxed a little more and stretched his arms.
He watched the girl, she was so young, so little just to darling! Shirogane was odd….no wonder he frightened most humans away, they most likely thought his aloft-happy-fruity attitude meant something of a ‘wrong’ manner. He didn’t intend any harm or discomfort with anyone, he just loved humans, but liked Boogies too, Kids more so. But other ‘nice’ Boogies were fun to hang around with, maybe he liked to torture them, because he made some uncomfortable. Wonder why…?
Finely he spoke again with a nod and brushed his hair back. “May I ask what your doing out here all alone?” he said sweetly. Was kind of worried she wasn’t still to young to be completely by herself?

Aira thought that this Boogie was a little strange, but what did she know really? She definitely does not have the experience to be judging any sorts of behaviors. Still, she was told that all Boogies ruled with an iron fist. They were callous and mean spirited. Mister Shirogane didn't seem to be any of these things. He smiled freely, which Aira loved, and was very polite. Perhaps Boogies were only nasty toward the slaves. Perhaps she had been misinformed?
“May I ask what your doing out here all alone?”
Now there was the question of questions. Aira frowned. She did not like this Boogie whom she hardly knew thinking that she could not take car of herself. At least that's what she thought he was saying. In her irritation she stood rather quickly, which sloshed about the hefty amount of fruit in her stomach. Nauseousness bubbled from her stomach into her throat and she leaned against the rock. Aira had almost forgotten about her stomachache, she had been so amused. "Owie.. " She muttered with a hand on her stomach.
Her eyes held mixed feelings as she looked to the Boogie. Strange situation she has found herself in. Aira wants so bad to be liked but it seems all she can do is embarrass herself. She liked Shirogane and wanted his approval but also felt that he thought that she was just a child. And now here she is proving it. |

Shirogane looked at Aira confused as she started to stand, uh-oh she looked upset with him? He blinked confusedly a few times watching the younger-Boogie. Until she stood and seemed to be distressed by something else now!? This worried him some. He looked at her tilting his head some. As she spoke only one word. ‘Owie.”
His eyes got big, oh no! was she sick!? He moved forward some. “Aira?! Are you alright?” he frowned worriedly. “your tum- stomach don’t feel good!?” stomach sounded more….’grown up’ he might have offended her before? Or that’s what he thought and he for gods sake hope her parents were and and wernt around at the same time, if they thought he hurt her….uh-oh!
He sucked in a deep breath and tried to remain calm and relaxed. “you look like you ate something funny.” he tilted his head then paused. “can I help you back inside or something?” he asked again, so many questions, well he didn’t know WHAT to do!

The hysterics of Mister Shirogane's reaction brought Aira's small smile to her face. Though her stomach ruined her delight with the pain the stretched across her abdomen. "I ate too many fruit! I never tasted anything so good. I.. I couldn't stop eating!" Aira explained once her stomach had settled a little bit more.
“Can I help you back inside or something?”
Inside? He must mean the palace! Aira's heart beat wildly. She had never been inside the Boogie palace. Actually, she was looking for it when she wound up in the orchard and got distracted. The stories of the palace that were told to her were fantastic and they grew even more fantastic every time they were told. "Yes yes! Take me to the palace! Quickly!" |

“Are to many….fruit.” he blinked almost not believing it. Blinking he then smiled and gave a small nod. “well that would be it, but I don’t think your in any danger.” he stated with a nod at the girl still wearing his hat. But then he paused eyes widening some. As she spoke up again about the palace. He looked up and into the distance some then back at her, so restless to get there!! He blinked then laughed standing he nodded.
“I will take you!” he stated with a small smile, and offered a hand then paused hoping it wouldn’t offend her either so hard to tell. He looked up again then back toward her. “its this way.” he wasn’t in a huge hurry, if they ran she would most likely get sick, but he knew that if they took there time, nothing would really be hurt. He didn’t think she needed to go for medical treatment. So he was ready for a pleasant walk. “have you ever been inside?” he asked happily.

Perhaps in any other situation, Aira would have been offended by his offer to take her by the hand. But Aira was so excited to be going to the palace and besides his support would help them get there faster. So, she gladly and enthusiastically took his hand and away they went.
“have you ever been inside?”
Aira shook her head, "Nuh-uh. But I've been told all about it though. It's huge right? And beautiful! With lots of servants and humans to do whatever you want." She had never been to a place like that. Sure her mother's palace was nice but she was told it was nothing like the palace in Wonderland.

Shirogane laughed and smiled warmly. Lightly wondering what she thought of humans he didn’t ask. He just let her along. “It is pretty nice.” he smiled the closer they got he could almost see her get more excited. It was so cute! He wanted to just pick her up and squeeze her! Though would be his luck, he’d either hurt her…or someone would see it….’differently’
Approaching the doors Shirogane took a few steps ahead and pulled on the large handle opening it up and nodded for her to step inside. “stay close though it is very easy to get lost in here, and…not all Boogies are so nice.” he whispered not adding ‘to kids’ on to that statement. But in fact it was true. Not all Boogies liked other boogies, he was an example, but not a good example…..though he didn’t understand why. But other Boogies attacked him for a few…..reasons.
Shirogane shut the door and glanced around. “this is my favorite spot to hang out.” he nodded it was large and open spaced you could watch the humans work or Boogies come and go.
