It's always once upon a time, in New York City..
Welcome to New York City. Secrets, rumors, hopes and anguish all co-exist within a cacophony of city noises. Some come to New York with nothing but the clothes on their back, and a pocket full of dreams. Some are born and raised, privileged and always yanking on the gold-plated spoon in thier mouth. And still others are somewhere in between, lost in the defining line between 'rich' and 'poor', uptown and downtown.
In a city of ten million people, there's bound to be some good stories. And strangely, a lot of these stories resemble the ones we know so well. Knights in shining armor, princesses in distress, tigers in the grass... Individuals whose lives are so thoroughly unbelievable, they couldnt be anything but fairy tales. Unfortunately, these lives do not always have happy endings. New York is, above all, a city of realism; the good guy does not always win, and the bad guys.. Well, sometimes they get what they want.
