Naelona wasn't one for frequently attending the baths. She was fond enough of bathing, but preferred her own bath in her quarters to anything here. It was all charred now and with the way the floors creaked in some places one might fear the bath would plummet through the floor with the added weight of water. Not that one could actually become clean in such a soot-laden room anyway.
Folding her hair over upon itself she pinned the black and white locks up upon her head before undoing the stays the ties of her clothing completely unattended. She made it a point not to think of Kristopher, and the ordeal made her a bit snappier about Kyle than usual - sending him off to take care of things that kept him very much out of her sight as well. Where had she gone wrong in this? Naelona growled quietly, shucking the heavier outer dress and folding it neatly for her return. She was sure she could still taste his blood upon her teeth. Maybe it was her own? Her lip was bleeding again.
Similarly removing and folding the resulting underclothes Naelona took a thick towel and wrapped it modestly about herself, if modest would excuse the considerable amount of leg the towel still showed. Her bare feet made soft sounds upon the hard floor while crossing the open space to one of the larger baths. It was quiet here, and darker back further in. Removing the towel she folded that as well, wading into the warm water amidst the steam the lazily rose from the wintery cool air above it.
The boogie sighed tiredly, so much trouble of late. Perhaps Jouhnin was right, she thought, setting the towel upon the edge and sinking to her chin into the warm water. Perhaps she wouldn't kill Kristopher for fear of being alone - yet on the same hand with recent events and her new found detestment for him, perhaps she was already alone. Perhaps she'd actually always been.

Naelona would have her much needed silence for the next five minutes. After those quick five minutes she would no longer be alone in the bath. As she rested in the bath, a strong pair of pale hands covered her eyes and a voice echoed through her ears. "Guess who." Mused the elder twin.
Anolean was the type to do as he wanted, when he wanted. Right now, he wanted to take a bath and it so happened his sister wanted to at the sametime. That amused him, no matter how far they had been apart, he would still get that pull to do something. And it was always when he his twin sister was doing the same thing. The dark haired male smiled as he released his hands from his sisters eyes. He was sitting on the edge of the bath without a towel.
"Well, you look rather in the dumps...sister."
An obvious statement and he knew it. It was meant to bother her, although he tilted his head to the side slowly and slid into the water. Unlike his sister, he did not put his hair up because he simply did not care if it got wet or not.
"Might I inquire to why you give the aura of depression and why, dear sister, are you bleeding?" He rose a dark brow in question then, looking silently concerned as he stared at her lips.

Even if it wasn't her bath, the hot water could still work it's magic. The heat seeped into the tense muscles of her back and were slowly beginning to sooth the aches from her being. Resting her arms upon the side of the bath her eyes had already sunk shut by the time Anolean appeared and covered them. "Guess who." They fluttered open tiredly and unfocused until she could make out his face.
"Well, you look rather in the dumps...sister." Her gray eyes glared at him as he slid into the water. She wasn't that terrible was she? "Might I inquire to why you give the aura of depression and why, dear sister, are you bleeding?" Naelona rolled her eyes and closed them again. It figured Anolean would show, didn't it? He was always everywhere with her then they were little.
"Have I ever given off an aura other than of order and authority?" Apparently so, or he wouldn't have asked. At mention of her bleeding Naelona licked her lip first, then frowned and wiped it with her finger to view the red liquid stained upon it. "I wasn't aware I was. I bit myself at dinner." A lie in itself. She hadn't even had dinner.
"It's been a difficult time, Anolean." Naelona answered simply, at length. The rebellion rumors, the fire, the deaths.. "I think soon I shall be no better with slaves than you are. Time again it's been proven to me that they deserve no better." She said bitterly, crossing her arms across herself.

"Have I ever given off an aura other than of order and authority?"
"No, hence why I am inquiring to why you look like a beaten human." He mused on that for a moment. It was debatable if he already knew the story behind his sisters condition or not. But if he did, he wasn't going to say, it would be unlike him to speak of an issue that was not his own.
He moved closer to his sister and leaned on the edge of the large pool like bath. He studied his sister carefully, pondering on what to say and what not to voice. Naelona was tricky like that.
"I wasn't aware I was. I bit myself at dinner."
"Pardon my human sister, but I would like to call Bullshit on that statement. You do not bite yourself, you bite others." He raised a pale hand then and brushed a lock of rogue hair behind his sister ear in an attempt to comfort her in his own way.
"What is truly wrong, Naelona? I will find out. You know this."
"It's been a difficult time, Anolean. I think soon I shall be no better with slaves than you are. Time again it's been proven to me that they deserve no better."
He paused then, a look of concern crossed his features as well as understanding. "Has this to do with one of your slaves? If so, it must of been great to put you in this kind of mind set. You who loves to surround herself with male slaves of misfortune."

"I am not a beaten human." The sister snapped at him, sinking up to her chin into the water. It was probably how a beaten one felt, though. She wouldn't know. Naelona didn't bother moving at her brother's approach, it was her brother after all. A little wary, yes, but he was her twin all the same and as such a bit like a clone - or they used to be at least. He'd never been a threat as children, he wouldn't be one now, would he?
"Pardon my human sister, but I would like to call Bullshit on that statement. You do not bite yourself, you bite others." Again Naelona muttered incoherently beneath her breath. Bite and bite she did. About cracked one of Kristopher's finger's she figured. The boogie grimaced at the thought and frowned deeper, flinching her head to the side at his brief touch. "What is truly wrong, Naelona? I will find out. You know this." Pushing away from the side of the path Naelona moved a few feet from it to look at her brother with a hard look. It was probably true, too. He'd heard of other things.
"Has this to do with one of your slaves? If so, it must of been great to put you in this kind of mind set. You who loves to surround herself with male slaves of misfortune." It was a difficult front, and at best Naelona could glare but in front of her sibling it wasn't enough to cover up the hurt look, let alone her 'aura' as he put it. "It has nothing to do with the slave I own now." Just a former one. The concerned yet understanding look on his face did little to help the frail holdings she was just keeping over everything.
"I've merely set confidence into poor vessels for it, brother. A lot of what I once had I don't possess anymore." The boogie shook her head slightly, gently touching her lip again to check on it. "I'm just very, confused.. " The strange tightness she couldn't place seeped into her chest again. "..some curse, perhaps."

"I've merely set confidence into poor vessels for it, brother. A lot of what I once had I don't possess anymore. I'm just very, confused...some curse, prehaps."
Anolean looked at his sister for a moment. He was weighing the options and weight to her words. So, she had put faith into something and had been shot down. Amusing and painful. The elder twin snaked behins his sister and put his arms around his shoulders and let his hands hang limpy at her front, although not touching her.
"Now, now, Naelona. You look like that and I can't help but find you utterly adorable and that in itself is just plain odd for me to admit." He chuckled, resting his chin on the top of his sisters head, pulling her close to him as he spoke again.
"You are neither cursed nor putting confidence into poor things. You happen to know when to put faith into things and what not in others. Now, I shall concor. You seem to be very confused on some matter beyond my knowledge. Try not to think on it too hard or it shall make you even more moody and gain wrinkles across the pretty brow of yours, sister." said the usually stern boogie. He often cared for nothing, other then his sister. It was how he always was even while he was younger.
"Now then," He said ever so softly with that iron voice of his, "How about you tell me what is so confusing to make you look so human, hm?" Prehaps he could help and if not, well he would just erase the thing to cause his sister such issues.
