"Now what do you think you're doing?"
The three boogies, a small, medium, and fat one turned, thinking that they had broken some rule. An obscurity that even Naelona may have over looked. But... who would know them so clearly? Jumping, they saw... a dark woman? Laughing to themselves, they turned away again, looking back at their bet. "Excuse me," Rosaline said louder this time, the boogies turning around again, only looking annoyed. This little lady was gonna get on their nerves... "You aren't betting humans, per chance, are you?" Looking at one another, confused, they turned back. The medium one spoke up for the group. "Er... yeah. Why?"
The three would be in for quite the lecture...
Two and a half hours later, with no end in sight, the three looked on the verge of slumber. "...so get your lazy ass's up and get your own meals for once! You don't need a human for every damn job! Leave some for the other boogies!" The small one rubbed his temples, deciding he was done with this. "Look, you little brat, you don't tell us what to..."
Slap!
"It's very rude to interrupt a lady!" The other two, stunned, watch the smaller one grow angry quickly. "Why you...!"
Whump!
A fist connected with the jaw that time, a pissed looking Rosaline glaring down at the boogie. "Now... where was I?" She asked, looking to the other standing boogies. "Ah, yes... You only need..." The talk started up again, but only lasted a half hour, as most of it was done before the knock out. "So... I want you to go release what you humans you don't absolutely need. Is this understood?" Her piercing amber eyes had frightened the other two. Why? They reminded them of Tristan Blackthorne, a boogie to be reckoned with. And her knock out blow only supplemented the similarities. They nodded dumbly, leaving their little ring of dice, dragging their friend. Huffing, she folded her arms. "Why can't they figure it out on their own without my help?" Rosaline said, glaring at their backs as they left.
