Windham University, one of the top ten collegiate schools in the country
for the children of privilege and impeccable breeding. Where acceptance
is based on financial advantage, above average intellect, and impressive
family connections. Windham is a school completely run by the Greek system.
While they may only be twenty percent of the student body they control
everything from sports to budget funding and rightfully so. They do bring
in the most revenue for the school with their charity events and fund raising
parties, which is why in the past the administration has turned their heads
when infractions were brought up against the Greeks. With the underage
drinking and the overly loud parties, they always turned a blind eye to the
activities being held by the Greeks.
However, this year is different. Coming back from the summer break new
rules are being enforced. After Carley Pipkin, the current senators daughter,
committed suicide due to rumored hazing rituals, there has been a crack
down on the Greeks following the investigations in the past over the
percentage of student deaths due to hazing. They're currently under a
microscope, which means one finger out of line and that could be the end
of the Greek System at Windham, not to mention possibly the end of
Windham University its self. So will the Greeks be able to stay in line? Will
the school finally be taken back over by the other eighty percent of the
student body? Or is there more going on here than anyone really knows?
Only time will tell, and we promise it's going to be a bumpy ride.
