Appearance:
Physically Naelona is a very pale boogie, and in a word, monochromatic. Her skin is relatively unblemished, though the front of each shoulder has it's own set of scars. Three or four marks left by puncturing claws. There is also a long, thin scar line across the meat of her right palm. Her hair is black save for a few certain locks that grow completely white. Her hair is either put up, or let down, but never both.
She is often found dressed in a trademark black, or gray attire. She only wears full-length dresses that reach the floor, often accompanied by wrist-length sleeves and high collars in the winter. At most they might recede to a modest neckline and 3/4 sleeves. Very rarely does she show any of her upper arms/shoulders/back, and never her legs. She never substitutes her dresses for a shirt and pants, as that would be akin to running about in her underwear to her. Naelona rarely wears jewelry as it is often impractical, but any she may wear will also follow this colorless theme. She is often in the possession of an ornately decorated metal smoking pipe. It seems to double not only as a nervous habit, but a weapon as well. A damaged silver pocket watch and a finely crafted tanto are also known to be hidden within her clothing when she is about.
Personality:
Naelona is liked by a few, a bother to some, yet heeded by most. Those who don't get an earful and a lump on the head until they follow her commands. By all means she is a no-nonsense boogie. She sees it as her sole responsibility to ensure Wonderland runs smoothly, and that slaves and boogies alike follow proper protocol so as not to follow their errant ways into pure chaos. She also keeps extensive records on many things, slaves and boogies alike, which are updated regularly. Odds are if she doesn't have something recorded, the record simply doesn't exist.
She often comes off as rude, mouthy, short-tempered (of which she is), and bossy but merely has high expectations of those around her, most importantly of her slaves to whom she is often the hardest. She expects much, but those who meet those expectations are treated well. Naelona - as any Ezel - is very prideful of her name, position, and authority. Emotions baffle her, and have come to be considered a sign of illness. While distant and cold in the public eye, she isn't always so in private with the rare few that have gained her favor. It's been rumored that she even sleeps with a certain slave close by her side so as to keep nightmares from her distant past at bay.

History:
Naelona grew up alongside her twin brother, Anolean. The twins were veritable hellions when they were small, and where one was found - never far away was the other. Years later she wouldn't recall much of her early years save for her mother's death. Having seen Syeira enter the Labyrinth, she had followed her mother in to get her to return. By the time she found her mother, beasts from that cursed maze had as well. To this day Naelona is unsure how she survived as her memory cuts out as soon as they turned to attack her, but not before she witnessed the death of her mother and the sudden pursuit of the deadly creatures that soon bore down upon her.
The following months she spent bedridden, recovering her health and life the beasts had (quite literally) began to draw from her. Times after were spent rebuilding her feeble strength and health, playing with Anolean, and pulling pranks. It was when she became older and began to question the circumstances that had driven her mother into the Labyrinth in the first place that relations between her and her father, Kazn, deteriorated at a rapid pace. Arguments became heated with conflicting viewpoints and blame was flung upon both sides until one day the young Ezel had enough, gathered her things, and left home.
A few hundred years later and some-odd decades Naelona had well established a place for herself within Wonderland. In her stoic opinion she ensures order and propriety is kept, and Wonderland keeps going. About a year ago with the rise of the Rebellion, the arrival of her father, brother, and several issues both past and present alike Naelona drew 'ill' and took a hiatus for about 2/3rds a year, letting a former rival - then acquaintance Tristan Blackthorne, take over a number of duties for her. Having returned upon his death she has resumed her former role for which many have known and feared so well.
